"The hotel was clean and very well maintained. The bed was great and comfortable. We had the room in the attic. I would say itâs slightly less than what I would have expected for the price given that we didnât have any windows looking out.
The location was fantastic. Super close to the lake and really nice restaurants. Furthermore, the train station was also a 5 minute walk away should you need it.
Wouldâve been nice if the breakfast was included and/or reasonably priced."

GGuest UserThere's really nothing to complain about. The location is excellent, and it's the only hostel in Como that has air conditioning! I was so relieved. The kitchen is huge, and they even provide free vegetables and pasta. It's a bit on the expensive side, so I strategically chose to stay on a Wednesday, which was the cheapest day. Just a heads up, Thursday to Saturday rates are quite high.

LLeezzziThe soundproofing and bed are better than 99% of the hotels I have stayed in. Small details such as the coffee machine kettle is not clean enough, the TV remote control battery is insufficient, and it is easy to splash water when washing your face (the washbasin is a little short), but these are not enough to cover up the advantages. Because the soundproofing and bed are the hard core strength of the hotel.
This hotel has both the warmth of a family hotel and the quality of a group hotel.

GGuest UserGreat stay at this hotel. The rooms were well sized, clean and well equipped. We had direct garden access and a great view. What really set apart this hotel and made the stay very enjoyable was the staff. Everyone was very helpful and friendly and was always there to help when we needed them. 10/10 service! Make sure to try the breakfast with the amazing views too!

Room was clean and quiet, comfortable bed but pillows were too flat for me personally, parking is 5 mins away from hotel, breakfast was not a big selection but there was everything that we need. There is not gym that's why i 3 stars for the facilities. I recommend this hotel.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful đ€ â modern with a stylish Italian design throughout, from the lobby to the rooms. Everything feels new, clean, and thoughtfully designed.
The room was a highlight â spacious, very clean, and extremely comfortable. All the basic amenities were well provided, making the stay easy and relaxing.
One of the best parts is the rooftop swimming pool â stunning views, great atmosphere, and perfect for photos, especially around sunset đ
đ One downside to note:
The location is a bit far from Como city center.
* There is a bus stop near the hotel, but buses can be unreliable and not always on time
* Walking to the center is about 1â2 km, doable but not ideal (especially with kids or elderly travelers)

Perfect for a relaxing stay in a beautiful, design-focused hotel. Best if youâre planning to use taxis or have a car, rather than relying on public transportation.

Malheureusement, certaines pratiques vont totalement Ă lâencontre de cette ambition.
Le parking est facturĂ© 18âŹ/jour, ce qui me semble exagĂ©rĂ© Ă©tant donnĂ© lâemplacement hors centre-ville et la prĂ©sence dâun grand parking gratuit pour dâautres usagers (notamment les joueurs de padel). Cela donne lâimpression que les clients de lâhĂŽtel sont pĂ©nalisĂ©s sans raison valable.
Le petit dĂ©jeuner est trĂšs limitĂ© pour un hĂŽtel de ce niveau : le buffet est incomplet, certains plats sont payants et doivent ĂȘtre commandĂ©s sĂ©parĂ©ment, et il nây avait mĂȘme pas de jus dâorange, ni sur le buffet ni Ă la carte â seulement de lâeau et du lait. Câest loin des standards dâun 4 ou 5 Ă©toiles.
Les capsules de cafĂ© dans la chambre sont facturĂ©es 1,50âŹ, ce qui est surprenant et dĂ©cevant pour un Ă©tablissement qui prĂ©tend offrir un service haut de gamme. Dans la grande majoritĂ© des hĂŽtels 4 ou 5 Ă©toiles, ce genre de prestation est inclus. Cela donne une impression de mesquinerie, en contradiction avec lâimage que lâhĂŽtel essaie de projeter.
Le point le plus dĂ©rangeant : le personnel est entrĂ© dans ma chambre le soir, sans mâavoir prĂ©venu, pour effectuer un « service de rangement ». Je nâavais rien demandĂ©, et jâai constatĂ© que certains de mes effets personnels avaient Ă©tĂ© dĂ©placĂ©s. Jâai exprimĂ© mon mĂ©contentement au directeur. PlutĂŽt que dâĂ©couter mes remarques, il mâa rĂ©pondu de maniĂšre condescendante, insinuant que je nâavais « pas lâhabitude de frĂ©quenter des hĂŽtels 5 Ă©toiles » et que ce genre de pratiques Ă©tait, selon lui, tout Ă fait normales. Une rĂ©ponse hautaine et dĂ©placĂ©e, loin de lâaccueil et du professionnalisme attendus dans ce type dâĂ©tablissement. En guise de compensation, le directeur mâa offert la capsule de cafĂ© Ă 1,50âŹ.

SSandy PoohThe location itself is convenient, but unfortunately the overall experience didnât match the price point. At checkâin, the staff was friendly and warm â and that was honestly the best part of the stay. The property is more like an Airbnb with no reception. The staff provided us basic information through WhatsApp. Although the name hotel is misleading and the Airbnb type style is not what we expected, the arrangement works fine with us.
The room felt dated and didnât give the impression of being properly clean. Even small details, like the towels, were disappointing; they didnât seem fully dry and the quality was lacking.
Breakfast was another letdown. We werenât aware beforehand that it wasnât served onâsite but instead at a cafĂ© about a fourâminute walk away. While this might be fine on a sunny morning, during our stay it was raining in Como, and having to go outside just to get breakfast was far from ideal.
Overall, Convo Lake Como feels overpriced for what it offers. Between the dated rooms, lack of onâsite breakfast, and underwhelming amenities, I believe there are better choices in the area that provide more comfort and value for the same or even lower cost.
