"The hotel is well located near the city centre. Convenient car parking at hotel premises. I was disappointed that booking for one person gets you only one single bed in a very small room. For such a price paid (cca 150 euro/night) this was very disappointing. Breakfast was basic and fine. Very friendly staff."

"The reception is accommodating. The food is average because they don’t have any hot meal. The selection of cheese and cold items have many choices and fruit juice as well. They provide healthy options such as yoghurts, variety of fruits, sliced tomatoes and cucumbers, chia seeds and nuts. They have also different kinds of danish pastries, croissants, savouries, sweets and cakes. We liked the breakfast buffet station. The restaurant is clean and tidy. The location of the hotel have good proximity within the tourist spots."

"The entire staff was very friendly and helpful when it came to our questions & assistance. Location is great, right at the heart of Como Lake shoreline and a 5 minute walk from the Como Lago train station. "The location is really good and the boss is friendly. Basically, water, tea, coffee, towels and soap are ready, but you have to bring shampoo and other shower supplies! There is a restaurant under the hostel and very close to the lake!"

"Love this hotel, location, service and friendliness. The location is near the train station and the lake. We arrived earlier than hotel check in time, but since the room has ready, they allow us to check in earlier. Very appreciate especially since we've just travelled from Milan. We're renting a bike, and they allow us to put the bike inside the garage. We had a situation having wet pantsuit, since they don't have a laundry service they borrowed us an ironing and it helps.. Will stay again if we're going back to Colico"

"We booked a hotel near Lake Como while passing through on our way from Germany to France. The room was generally clean and tidy, with just enough space, though not quite enough. The B&B doesn't have its own parking lot, but you can park for free in a separate garage 500 meters away. The surrounding area felt unsafe, with a constant police presence. The hotel is located on a main road, which might be a problem for light sleepers. The breakfast was average, with a limited variety, similar to budget hotels like Home Inn in China."

"We stayed three nights in a room advertised for lake view. The actual view is half blocked by a tree. This is very disappointing considering the images at the website. There was a huge bug on bed sheets and blonde hair noted on towels before we started using them. Lastly the hairdryer was broken. After I requested the hairdryer to be replaced, even though the reception staff said they would do it, it just never happened. Air conditioning was unable to be adjusted and the room gets freezing in the evenings. Overall, it was the worst experiences I have had during my three weeks of travelling in Italy. It was a huge disappointment."

"Todo correcto, la habitación amplia y con aire acondicionado. El parking algo caro y hay que reservar. Realmente se aparca en el patio delantero del hotel, hay que dejar las llaves y ellos mueven los coches para colocarlos. Muy cerca del centro y de los muelles para coger los barcos que te llevan a otras ciudades. El desayuno correcto."

"The hotel is 2 kilometers around the hotel. It belongs to the city center. Every day, you can hear the bells of the central church. The corridor is not very good. The room is small, but all the facilities inside are very new, and there are 2 windows. The windows are particularly interesting. The sound insulation is not very good, the front desk lady Francesca is very beautiful and very warm, people are kind"

CCarolinaSousaTHE BEST of all the hostels I stayed so far. I am super happy with all the staffs at the reception and the bar, special thanks to Joana, and 3 other young men who helped me with the check in and check out, and throughout all my 5 days stay. I was very happy and surprised by all the free toiletries, amenities, coffee, juice, water, snacks, bread and cakes, and I love how in the reading/game room there’s a piano, guitars, ukulele, TV with Nintendo switch, books, games, etc.. I also love the fact that we can rent the powerbanks and wireless internet with our ID document. There were also very nice events going on, e.g. beer pong, family dinner, and more. I have just a few suggestions: it would be a lot better if the bed side stand be a little bigger so that we can put a little more things other than our phone, also if the room could have some hooks on the wall for us to hang our jackets and towels. Thank you so much for such a lovely and wonderful stay. I also met a lot of amazing people. I would definitely come back in no time❤️

GGuest UserOne of the best experiences we had with our twice annual travel destinations.  The RentComo location was in the heart of the city, nestled in one of the quaint shopping streets, and walking distance to all the typical tourist stops.  Very nice going back to the apartment each evening, opening the windows and listening to the tourists and locals finishing their shopping or going for dinner.  Very nice apartment with all the comforts; so much more relaxing than the standard hotel room stay.

GGuest UserL’hôtel est situé dans une zone industrielle, à environ 10 à 15 minutes en voiture du centre de Côme. L’établissement est récent, propre, avec des installations modernes et bien entretenues. On sent une volonté de viser un standing plus élevé, peut-être celui d’un 5 étoiles selon le directeur. Malheureusement, certaines pratiques vont totalement à l’encontre de cette ambition. Le parking est facturé 18€/jour, ce qui me semble exagéré étant donné l’emplacement hors centre-ville et la présence d’un grand parking gratuit pour d’autres usagers (notamment les joueurs de padel). Cela donne l’impression que les clients de l’hôtel sont pénalisés sans raison valable. Le petit déjeuner est très limité pour un hôtel de ce niveau : le buffet est incomplet, certains plats sont payants et doivent être commandés séparément, et il n’y avait même pas de jus d’orange, ni sur le buffet ni à la carte — seulement de l’eau et du lait. C’est loin des standards d’un 4 ou 5 étoiles. Les capsules de café dans la chambre sont facturées 1,50€, ce qui est surprenant et décevant pour un établissement qui prétend offrir un service haut de gamme. Dans la grande majorité des hôtels 4 ou 5 étoiles, ce genre de prestation est inclus. Cela donne une impression de mesquinerie, en contradiction avec l’image que l’hôtel essaie de projeter. Le point le plus dérangeant : le personnel est entré dans ma chambre le soir, sans m’avoir prévenu, pour effectuer un « service de rangement ». Je n’avais rien demandé, et j’ai constaté que certains de mes effets personnels avaient été déplacés. Je n’aime pas que l’on entre dans ma chambre sans mon autorisation explicite, ni sans m’en avoir informé au préalable. Cela m’a mis très mal à l’aise. Qu’un ménage soit fait le soir peut être un service apprécié par certains, mais il doit être clairement annoncé ou demandé. J’ai exprimé mon mécontentement au directeur. Plutôt que d’écouter mes remarques, il m’a répondu de manière condescendante, insinuant que je n’avais « pas l’habitude de fréquenter des hôtels 5 étoiles » et que ce genre de pratiques était, selon lui, tout à fait normales. Une réponse hautaine et déplacée, loin de l’accueil et du professionnalisme attendus dans ce type d’établissement. En guise de compensation, le directeur m’a offert la capsule de café à 1,50€. J’espère que cet avis aidera les futurs clients à avoir une vision plus réaliste de cet hôtel. Pour ma part, malgré la qualité des installations, je ne le recommanderai pas. Le service client, l’écoute et le respect de l’intimité ne sont pas au rendez-vous.

Everything feels new, clean, and thoughtfully designed. The room was a highlight — spacious, very clean, and extremely comfortable. All the basic amenities were well provided, making the stay easy and relaxing. One of the best parts is the rooftop swimming pool — stunning views, great atmosphere, and perfect for photos, especially around sunset 🌅 👉 One downside to note: The location is a bit far from Como city center. * There is a bus stop near the hotel, but buses can be unreliable and not always on time * Walking to the center is about 1–2 km, doable but not ideal (especially with kids or elderly travelers) 💡 Overall: Perfect for a relaxing stay in a beautiful, design-focused hotel. Best if you’re planning to use taxis or have a car, rather than relying on public transportation.

Small details such as the coffee machine kettle is not clean enough, the TV remote control battery is insufficient, and it is easy to splash water when washing your face (the washbasin is a little short), but these are not enough to cover up the advantages. Because the soundproofing and bed are the hard core strength of the hotel. This hotel has both the warmth of a family hotel and the quality of a group hotel.

JJimzuReview for a one day stay from Singaporean who stay 29-30 August 22. Location- hotel ideal location near to ferry . 10-15 min walk to cable car. From como railway station . Go down the stair from the exit of the station. Follow the pedestrian crossing and go down and walk straight into the town . Easy . Hotel: super clean . Air con was super good and cold ! I love it . Room wise size is ok. Ruben was helpful and explain to us what to do for our W day stay . Where to take ferry. Where to take cable car . He was nice and smiling . Food: I did not opt for breakfast as there are many food around . I had twice the gelato for nearby shop. It was good ! Overal. My stay in room 403 was great ! Check in and out was easy . Please stay here. At night I also went to the square juat below and chill out with food .

GGuest UserThe stay at the hotel exceeded my expectations. The cleaning was excellent. Breakfast was good. Additionally, it was possible to have coffee or tea in between. I'm very much satisfied and can recommend this hotel! The only thing to be inproved is internet connection, which worked just occasionally but practically either didn't work or was very very slow - if you have no local sim card, it may be a crucial point for you.

GGuest UserMy daughter and I had a splendid stay at the Palace Hotel Lake Como, which is a historic and elegant property on the lakefront. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of the beautiful Como Cathedral and the charming old town. Our room was cozy and well-appointed, with an open and lovely view. The breakfast was delicious and varied, even with smoked salmon for breakfast, coffee was excellent. The staff was courteous and attentive, and made us feel at home. We highly recommend this hotel for a memorable and relaxing vacation in Como!
