TTasting DreamscapeI really enjoyed my stay at Apsor Palace Hotel. Itâs in a very convenient location, just a short distance from the Royal Palace and nearby shopping. The hotel was clean and well maintained, and the staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming. A comfortable and pleasant experience overall.

NNadine NFavourite Hotel Ever!! As usual, it never disappoints. Truly remarkable that this is my 4th visit and I still get the same exceptional service and staff remember me. It is nice that they treat returning visitors as VIPs and are willing to factor this in when considering certain concessions.
I had accidentally spilled my chocolate frappe on the sheets. The hotel charge me for the replacement cost (which was totally fair) and discounted the cost since I am their âloyal customer). Iâm not saying they should always do this but it certainly impressed me that they considered all my visits and friends Iâd encouraged to stay over. Besides this though they are still usually reasonable with such things.
Per usual, there is everything around to make your stay completely seamless from shops to pharmacies to restaurants, etc.
The room service is 24 hours and excellent. Quality produce and delivery.
Staff, especially check in are very kind and helpful. I was really impressed by the check-in guy as I land early hours of the morning and he was very efficient. Plus, they had switched on the AC and the room was very comfortable after the long journey.
Having written many reviews for this hotel, there is not much more I can say as they continue to improve and maintain very high standards.
My only complaints are that the pool closes far too early at 8pm. I hope the hotel could consider extending the time. Secondly, the 4th four does not have a designated smoking section so it can become quite thick with the smoke smell. They might consider arranging ashtrays at more places than just the lift.

Room: neat and clean, size wise just ok, I get a nice view of Mekong river.
Breakfast: variety not much but just ok you can request staff for additional egg menu.
Staff: really friendly and greet you everytime. Shoutout to the breakfast staff who check with you everytime.
Improve: although the towel is clean but it looks old and some have light yellowish stain which believes unable to wash out. It visible to naked eye. Which really unpleasant.

DDwcwongHotel KVL is a solid city base in Phnom Penh with a good location and views over the Mekong River. Itâs close to the main bar area and a weekend street market, but that also means the road in front is closed from around 4:30 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, so itâs worth checking how that might affect your arrival or departure. Make sure you get the exact room type you booked, as there can be discrepancies, and note that the water pressure is on the weaker side, though everything else in the room works well. Breakfast is decent with enough variety, and overall the hotel offers a nice urban contrast to the resort feel of the Park Hyatt in Siem Reap.

GGuest UserI enjoyed my stay here. The hotel is safe, comfortable, and conveniently situated in the Riverside district. It has a good cost performance (i.e. price-to-quality ratio). Not everything is perfect, but the staff makes up for it, they are friendly and helpful (special shout-out to Nita who is fantastic, she is the nicest person and she helped me with all my requests).
I originally booked a basic room until I found out a few days ahead the room had no window (I did not read the description carefully enough), so I upgraded for a âstandard double roomâ with window. The first room I moved into did not have hot water. The hotel was not able to fix it, so eventually they moved me to another room where the hot water worked, which was great. The room did not have a chair and desk, but I asked the staff and they brought one. At some point, Nita helped me arrange a laundry load. It was done overnight and cost 3 dollars, so it seems the laundry is outsourced to a nearby business.
At night, the street can be a little loud, there are many bars, KTVs and nightclubs located here. But it did not bother me, I could sleep through it easily. Many of the bars have hordes of pretty women who, beginning at dusk, sit outside and come ask you to drink with them. They get your attention by shouting âhelloâ, âcome hereâ, âhandsomeâ and âbongâ (mister) as you are walking by. In any event, this did not bother me, I never actually felt harassed and could come and go the hotel as I pleased.
The description mentioned the room would have a minibar, but my room didnât have one. Probably I could have asked for it, but I realized I didnât need one.
One morning, there was a visit by the police, they were checking visas and passports from all foreign hotel guests. This was unexpected, but it went smoothly.
Overall, Iâm very happy with my stay and would probably come here again. Not everything is perfect, but I give it 4.5 stars (4 stars for the price/quality/location plus an extra half-staff bonus for the staff, especially Nita).

GGuest UserExcellent location with warm service. However, it isnât an ideal hotel location for tourist location where situating near a bin or smth like landfill that with unlike smell. Additionally, the room was filled with ants everywhere. The hygiene condition definitely has room for improvement. In terms of faculties, the bathroom canât provide hot water with stable temperatures, i canât take a shower with hot water around 7ish.
anyway, i still think the hotel quality is matched with the price though, not a bad choice for a short stay

: They have a lift. The room is actually big. It has ac, tv, fridge. They also have slippers provided, aside from the towels and toiletries. The breakfast buffet is nice also.

YYigit DI arrived at this hotel around 12 noon. The reception staff welcomed me kindly. There were a few other people waiting in the lobby at the same time. They told us that the rooms were not ready yet and that check-in time was at 2 PM. I said okay and started waiting, but since I thought it might take a while, I decided to go for a walk. I explored the nearby streets, went into a market, did some shopping, and spent some time outside.
When I returned to the hotel around a little after 1 PM, I noticed that the people who had been waiting earlier were goneâso I assume their rooms had been given. The receptionist told me that my room was also ready. Then a staff member accompanied me to my room, which was on the 5th floor. The elevator in this hotel only goes up to the 4th floor, so you have to take the stairs up one more level to reach the 5th floor.
The room itself was quite spacious. The Wi-Fi worked well without any issues. However, the TV did not seem to have smart featuresâthere was no internet connection or anything like that. It was supposed to show regular channels, but due to poor antenna reception, it barely showed anything. The channels were full of static and not watchable, so the TV was essentially unusable.
The air conditioner was working, but I think the gas might have been low, because the cooling was quite weak. Still, it was enough for me.
There is a safe box in the room, but it seemed to have been locked previously and could only be used with a key. I couldnât use it with a digital code. There is also a minibar with various drinks, but I didnât use it. I only used the fridge to store items I bought myself. I think having a fridge is quite important in hot countries like thisâitâs definitely useful.
Hot water was available without any problems. One of the best things about this hotel is its locationâitâs within walking distance to tourist areas and central entertainment spots. Other than that, I didnât notice any particularly special features. The building itself is quite old, and I could see that itâs somewhat worn out. Still, itâs fine for a few daysâ stay. But if you are expecting something luxurious, you should probably look for another hotel.
For breakfast, there is a set menu. During my three-day stay, I had the same set menu every day. It was pretty standard, nothing special. There is also a restaurant at the entrance where you can order meals, but I didnât try itâI only had breakfast there.
Thatâs pretty much my experience. If you ask whether I would stay here again, Iâd say itâs not bad, but you might be able to find a better place for the same price if you look around. The price was around the market averageânot too expensive, not cheap either. Maybe you can find something better for the same price, but Iâm not sure.

The bus stop is right in front of the night market which is only 100 meters to the hotel and only takes 3 minutes. The hotel location is right opposite the Riverside and walking to the royal palace is only 7-10 minutes. Thank you for the hospitality of the hotel manager
