DwcwongHotel KVL is a solid city base in Phnom Penh with a good location and views over the Mekong River. It’s close to the main bar area and a weekend street market, but that also means the road in front is closed from around 4:30 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, so it’s worth checking how that might affect your arrival or departure. Make sure you get the exact room type you booked, as there can be discrepancies, and note that the water pressure is on the weaker side, though everything else in the room works well. Breakfast is decent with enough variety, and overall the hotel offers a nice urban contrast to the resort feel of the Park Hyatt in Siem Reap.

Guest UserA magnificent hotel! Everything was perfect! Superb location and wonderfully attentive service. We requested an early check-in the day before, and the esteemed Mr. Sovanvitou EA kindly replied that he would assist us if the hotel's availability allowed. The hotel is very modern, design-forward, and functional. Everything is catered for guests, and everything works and adjusts perfectly: the air conditioning, the water, and there's even a place to dry clothes. The pillows, mattress, and duvet are perfect, making for a very comfortable stay. The cleanliness is impeccable. Our flight was canceled, so we checked out and were sitting in the lobby booking new flight tickets. The hotel staff asked if we needed any help, brought us water, and said we could use the shower for free if needed, even though we hadn't asked for anything. The staff repeatedly offered their help and care, which was truly wonderful.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing stay, and I look forward to visiting again in the future.

The room is well-equipped with two regular pillows, two extra pillows, tea, coffee, and a safe. You can order room service via a QR code, and your order arrives within five minutes without leaving your room. The restaurant is conveniently located on the ground floor. The night market is also just a five-minute walk away. This place is very convenient for sightseeing and tourism, and the price is affordable.

チーム「アジアの風」This is our go-to hotel every year. It has that old-world Cambodian charm, and I love that it's so reasonably priced. The hot water works perfectly, and cleanliness is never an issue. There's a cheap laundry service nearby that even offers same-day delivery, which is a huge help. Breakfast from the restaurant with a great view is always a highlight, with plenty of variety to choose from.

I've stayed here multiple times, and this experience was just okay. The air conditioning is very old and wasn't cold enough. After two nights, I requested a room change, which the front desk arranged. The service was alright. The best advantage is its location right by the Central Market, which is convenient for shopping.

T0TODespite arriving close to midnight, I was able to check in. The staff were attentive and the hotel was more than adequate. It's a great base hotel for sightseeing, especially if you're using a motorcycle navigation app.
Be aware that for rooms on the 5th floor, you'll need to take the elevator to the 4th floor and then use the stairs. The steps are quite steep, so be careful if you have large luggage!
For someone like me who prioritizes value for money when choosing hotels abroad and is willing to overlook minor inconveniences, this hotel was perfectly satisfying!

Pros:
Excellent value for the money. Hard to find better at this price point. The staff is attentive and helpful. 24-hour desk. Even the security guard, who probably doesn't get paid much, goes above and beyond to be of service and attentive. Reasonably clean. At least the linens are clean, even if some of the walls aren't.
Another standout, is the breakfast. At this price point, it's rare to get a breakfast. But this breakfast is above average. It out performs some breakfasts I've had at much more expensive hotels. They have cereals, juice and coffee, some seasonal fruit. Fried eggs. But they also have a menu that changes from day to day with Asian style breakfast foods, fried rice or noodles. Some local Cambodian dishes. Soups or congee. Grilled vegetables or a variety of other interesting conditions. It varies from day to day. There are usually five or six warming trays with food. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and taste. Like I said, above average, especially at this price point. Hard to beat. I started thinking I should go back and get the breakfast sometime on its own merit, even if I'm not staying there.
Overall. Well done. They are doing the best they can with the resources they have. And at this price point, it's hard to beat.
Cons:
The hotel shows some wear and tear; maintenance is always an issue in older buildings. It could use a refresh of paint. Some of the room configurations are a bit odd, where the bathroom door doesn't open all the way because of where they placed the sink and toilet. Occasionally, the title always will echo some sound from guests that haven't learned not to be loud late at night or early in the morning. But that's not the hotels fault that people aren't educated or respectful of others. The only negative part about this hotel location or the sketchy massage parlors that surround it. Some of them might offer legitimate services, but I get the impression that most of them are selling extra services based on the demeanor and dress of the people calling out to you as you walk by.
