Anonymous UserLove the hot spring facilities offered by the hotel, especially when you get to enjoy a private hot spring and pool in the villa! And regardless of where your villa is located, there’s buggy service available 24/7. Yoga among nature was also amazing. A really nice place to relax within nature.
HOWEVER, as a luxury resort, I was disappointed with the check-in service. Firstly, there wasn’t a clear indication of where the reception/lobby was, so our driver ended dropping us at the carpark. Once we were within the lobby area, it took a while for the staff to actually welcome us. Unlike the check-in service we saw another family receiving later in the day when they were dropped off at the main lobby, we immediately felt the difference. Btw, the resort should really consider lighting the direction into the lobby at night. Most of our private hire drivers have pointed poor signage/lighting to the lobby.
Next, the jungle walk group was too large with only one guide. We could barely hear what the guide was saying at the back, so yes it was merely a walk for us.

Grace PangiranWe stayed at Ipoh Bali Hotel for 4 days and 3 nights for our honeymoon, and we’re truly so grateful we chose a local honeymoon instead of flying overseas. This place made our trip feel peaceful, romantic, and memorable.
From the moment we checked in, Raidah was incredibly warm, helpful, and friendly and she even checked us out at the end of our stay. Her hospitality really made us feel welcomed and taken care of throughout the trip.
All the staff we met during our stay were genuinely friendly and welcoming. Every time we walked past, we were greeted with smiles, which made the atmosphere feel so warm and comfortable.
We also had massages during our stay, and the masseuses were amazing. The service honestly felt like a 5-star experience, professional, relaxing, and exactly what we needed after the wedding.
A special mention to the breakfast team as well, especially May, who was so kind and attentive. The food was excellent. We loved it so much that we ordered the same dishes twice during our stay, the Balinese chicken porridge and the Balinese rice set (can’t remember the exact name, but it was so good!).
The room itself was spacious with beautiful high ceilings, giving such a cozy Bali-inspired atmosphere. One of our favourite parts was the sound of flowing water from the balcony at night
It was incredibly calming and helped us sleep so well. The bathroom was also very spacious and came with a lovely bathtub, which made the whole honeymoon experience even more special.
Honestly, the hotel felt like a 5-star resort experience to us, so we were surprised to find out it’s officially rated 3 stars. The service, atmosphere, and overall experience exceeded our expectations.
Overall, this was the perfect honeymoon stay for us, and we will definitely come back again in the future.

Luv to travelOn the day I checked in, I left my things in the room and I went shopping. I did leave a Do Not Disturb sign on my door. When I came back, the minute I put down my shopping, someone tried to open my door. Looked through my peep hole and saw a middle aged woman. The key obviously did not work. She left after a while but came back with a bell boy who rang in my doorbell. I opened the door and bellboy apologised and asked if I was staying here. I said I have checked in at 3pm. Bellboy pointed at two luggages and said he sent them to the wrong room? Wait what? Whose are these? The woman said they were hers. Bell boy said he delivered them to the wrong room.
Next, front desk called me and asked for my name. Not to apologise but ask for my identity. She confirmed that there’s been a mistake in assigning rooms. I asked her what do I need to do. She said nothing. No apologies. I asked her why the bellboy entered my room even though the Do Not Disturb sign was there. No answer.
My advise to those who choose to stay here - double lock your doors and keep your valuables with you. They did not respect my DND sign and entered my room.

YingTyeThe hotel is located in the old town. Ipoh parade is just opposite the hotel. To old town, just walking distance, it is very convinient for all tourists n business traveller as well as family. The room is simple n modern. Just a small matter to highlight is housekeeping is too slow for those would like to work in the room. Breakfast variety is good n variety.

CGSOHIt was a pleasant stay overall.. except that the hand basin was clogged, the traffic noise from the adjacent main roads was a bit too much to bear at times, especially for those light sleepers. There was one early morning that we were abruptly waken up at about 6:30am by the heavy and persistent cigarette smoke from the centralised air conditioning system. With this, we asked for a room changed and the reception was responsive and willing to accommodate to our request.

NizarMzSpent one night at this hotel for a business trip, and I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was for the price.
The parking area is spacious and free, with valet parking available from RM30 per night. The hotel has a modern design and is equipped with a Face ID-like entry system, which adds a nice touch of technology. All the room switches are touchscreen as well.
The bed and pillows were very comfortable, making it easy to get a good night’s sleep. I also really loved the bathroom design, especially the electronically operated toilet seat very much like the ones you’d find in Japan.
They also provide complimentary snacks and carbonated drinks, which was a nice bonus.
Overall, definitely one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at for its price. Great comfort, modern facilities, and plenty of thoughtful touches. Would definitely consider staying here again.

Mahathevi PalanisamyThe hotel room was nice but have to improve the tv channels selection. I have been staying in this hotel few times and I feel they have not improved the tv channels. Mostly is Malay language and only one English Channel. We come from different countries and you need to cater for us too. Moving forward you can also upgrade to smart tv so that we can use our Netflix account to login in too. Staffs were very nice and room was nice and cozy.

AnnieztThis hotel is right in the heart of the old town, with the Ipoh Old Town Central Green directly below. We even stumbled upon an U21 football league on Sunday. There's also an Indian Muslim mosque just a few hundred meters away, and Concubine Lane is very conveniently located. The only downside was that the hotel's bath towels didn't seem particularly clean – they were a bit dingy. I used one after my shower and developed a ring of red rashes on my neck, so I immediately stopped using them. Luckily, I had brought my own disposable towels.

Anonymous UserIt was ok, very basic. Lots of drinking water.
Cons:
- Bathroom could do with upkeep, massive hole between door and door frame. Should be a full sized door. Not hygienic.
- Two single beds but they are tiny. Not comfortable for two adults to sleep in.
- Small TV, not even a modern TV. For hotels price, should at least have a decent TV.
- Soundproofing not great but was quiet during our time.
- music in hallways was kept on all night, we had to tell them to turn it off...
- we could smell smoke inside our room & bathroom from other people smoking in their rooms
- Breakfast was AWFUL, even if included it's better to go out for food. Hygiene in buffet for breakfast was poor, with flies in the fruit and salad.
- Front desk staff not very supportive or helpful.
