A wonderful stay with historical note We had a great time in the Academyhotellet! The location is perfect – in the heart of Uppsala, right next to the university, the Dom and in the nearby run to all views. The rich history of the house has impressed us particularly: This is where important scientists once lived – that gives the stay a very special atmosphere. The whole team was exceptionally friendly and premature – you feel welcome from the first moment. A real highlight: free coffee and tea around the clock, which we enjoyed very much, especially after walks in the city. The breakfast was rich, fresh and very delicious – with everything the heart wants. Conclude: A cozy, historic hotel with a great team and many lovely details. Clear recommendation – We're happy to come back!

Great place to stay in Uppsala. We can see the river from the room. Nice breakfast -- scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, bacon,cold cuts, breads, herring, shrimp etc. There is an orange squeezer machine. Nice strawberry smoothie. Hot drinks are also provided. Our room is very clean and beds are very comfortable. Only tiny complaint was only get 1 package of coffee but many sugar. But no big deal as we can drink at breakfast. Love this place and highly recommend to other travellers

One of the few hotels near the railway and main bus station in the city. But next to walking streets and malls in the city. Building is heritage and look oldish. But the rooms are clean and bright. Service is efficient when you want it. Could move in and out of the hotel easily. Walking distance to Uppsala University and hotel helped me with finding direction to SLU at Ultuna, outskirts of Uppsala.

Place is perfect , quiet and nice , if something have to see negative , room temperature could be adjustable in rooms

The hotel hardware is very new and the rooms are very spacious. However, the first floor is renovated on the whole floor, and the decoration noise can be heard occasionally during the day. Breakfast is medium-to-high, not the kind of extremely simple bread and jam, but don't expect too much. The surrounding facilities are rich, train stations, supermarkets, and restaurants.

There is a supermarket opposite the hotel, which is more convenient. The overall price is good. If the door is locked, you can call to ask for the password. It is not a 24-hour front desk. She will write a note and put the room card together. I stayed for one night and checked in the next day. It is also a different experience from the domestic 24-hour front desk.

Far from the station than expected. When booking, there is a kitchen but only a microwave.

Breakfast is not bad, DIY cakes, hot food is not much. The room is small, you can only put a bed, look at the surrounding environment before entering the room, if you are in the bathroom, it is recommended to contact the waiter to change a house, it will be very noisy.
