Houston Hotels with Breakfast

The Post Oak Hotel was amazing! My unforgettable Post Oak experience started with checking in with Miss Gabby. The Post Oak Hotel professionalism makes this 5 star hotel different from your everyday hotel. Post Oak Concierge Rubin was a pleasure to speak with regarding my dining options. Lunch at Bloom & Bee delicious. Shelby was my waitress. The food & cocktails were delicious. I sat poolside relaxing without one concern. Emma made sure I had everything I needed poolside, towels, cocktails, shaded area along with water, what more can I say. And my high floor room views of Houston Texas downtown, comfy bed, state of the art TV’s, plush bathroom wrapped in Marble with luxurious chandelier’s and the most needed lighting for pictures and videos. Some of my room goodies, Electronic coffee maker, TV’s that rises up from a cabinet, nightstands with dim lighting, remote controls from a apple tablet, desk & cozy couch, luxurious soap & hand lotions, marble soaking jet tub and If I needed anything more, I could ring my personal butler. We stayed at Home2Suite during our last trip to Houston but it was the one at Pearland. We arrived at this one late in the night and the staff at the front desk was very friendly. However once we entered the lift, we were welcomed with a strong greasy smell. The hall way had rug that was clean but obviously old. The major concern was the room which had a hole in the ceiling inside the toilet dripping water all over the floor. The AC also wasn’t working well that even at 19 degrees Celsius, was still warm. Initial complain to the staff was met with no vacant room, that they were fully booked. We managed for the first three days because we were outdoors most of the time. The room was later changed to a more comfortable one. The other thing was the swimming pool. My kids really wanted to swim during our stay but the staff mentioned that some handle to the pool was broken and that it was closed. The breakfast was also good but with little varieties to choose from.

Great, the hotel service is especially good.

Everything was as expected. Free breakfast, laundry room and even better with suites and some day fast food restaurants in walking distance.

The staff really made the experience above and beyond. We expected a very basic stay, the room and shower/bathroom was extremely clean. The check in/reception was really 100% amazing through and through. They make you feel right at home. Will book here again if needed in the future.

This place smelled like mold, was humid, was dirty, and badly needs a complete remodel. It might have been nice in the early 1990s, but it is not now. The staff at the desk was nice, but everyone else, not so much. If I had to stay here again, I would find another place. It was not scary - it just was not nice.

I stayed for 4 nights and they had to change my room on the third day because there were cockroaches in the bathroom, the refrigerator, the microwave and the nightstand. However, the next room also had the same problem, a little less so, but there were still more cockroaches.

The environment is good, the service staff is enthusiastic, and there is a gym downstairs. Unfortunately, I didn't know when I left. There are no shopping malls nearby, but it is not far from shopping malls such as Galleria

The smell of the disinfectant is quite strong, the breakfast is good, the stay is very convenient, the room card is a little bit bad, the front desk staff changes very fast, suitable for students living in Houston.

We I got to my room the smell was so strong, the streets were stained. The were roachs not as many as my last visit shower curtain was dirty. But the service clerk was very professional and nice.
