Holiday Inn London - Brentford Lock Reviews

Great location for us, splitting our time between visiting relatives in Twickenham area and going into London by public transport in a nice clean, friendly hotel with its own car park.

Excellent stay. Lovely room with a balcony looking over the canal. Very comfortable. Only negatives would be breakfast which always felt understaffed and chaotic. Took ages to clean tables etc. Apart from that, stay was brilliant.

An absolutely dreadful experience, certainly not deserving of a four-star rating or the price tag. The room floor was filthy, with hair and stains on the sheets and chairs. Both the chairs and mattresses emitted a strange, unpleasant smell. The soundproofing was terrible; we could clearly hear every word of the conversations happening next door. Daily housekeeping would aggressively knock on our door without permission, whether we were sleeping in or napping, until we specifically requested at the front desk the day before for them not to. Astonishingly, some housekeepers even threatened to clock out if we didn't allow them to clean immediately. Despite daily housekeeping, they never actually cleaned the sheets or chairs, only tidying up or replacing used items. The bathroom was extremely outdated; the bathtub stopper, once pushed in, was impossible to remove by hand, making the tub unusable. Housekeeping simply ignored this problem. Though there were two elevators, one was constantly out of order. This led to daily overcrowding in the remaining tiny elevator, which was no more than 3 square meters. Upon check-in, our room key inexplicably failed to work and had to be replaced. The very next day, after being out all day, the new key card mysteriously stopped working again. The only positive aspects were the pleasant attitudes of the front desk staff and the chef; everything else was utterly terrible, almost suffocatingly bad. The food was palatable but overpriced. What's more, their 'soft drinks' were merely pre-packaged beverages poured into a glass. The bartender even offered to 'mix' my drink, only to serve me a simple pre-mixed juice. Late check-out was not an option at all; I was informed that I absolutely had to return the room key by 11 AM. Every word of this review is true and without exaggeration.

Such yummy breakfast! Good location close to bus stop and train station. We had a nice view of the lock. Cosy Christmas vibes. Recommened!

Great location next to the lock. Close to Kew gardens which is a must see. Amazing local dinner spots. Room was comfy, clean and everything we needed.  Staff were helpful and friendly.  Would stay again!

Had no problem booking in, staff were very helpful and welcomed us with a friendly professional manner and with a smile. Room and amenitiea were of a good standard. We slept comfortably and really well. Lovely surrounding with the lock around😊. Very happy!

Quiet place in a small street of Brentford lock

Nice enough, Room was ok nothing special decent bed and decent bathroom. Breakfast was good had everything you needed. Hotel has Gym didn't use it.

My room was upgraded and ready for me on arrival, it was very clean and there was also complementary water in my room. The Holiday Inn staff were very accommodating and helpful in every way. The breakfast was very fresh and served well with presentation. I would book again with trip.com . Dattar Singh

I was very disappointed that the WIFI didn't work throughout my whole stay I did tell them the issue they did move my room but the room they moved me too had no WiFi either. As a proffesional trader Internet connection is needed especially when they stated before the room was booked that they do provide working WiFi.
