Spring Hill Gardens Apartments

We travelled with families. How lucky we found this lovely self-serviced hotel in Brisbane CBD. With very reasonable price, you got everything you need in the kitchen – stoves, dishwasher, plates, oven etc. Plus, there's even a washing machine. They even provide the washing powder for free. Their rooms are more spacious than standard hotel rooms. We booked one room with a small cute backyard which we enjoyed a bit quiet time in a noisy CBD area. The staff at Springhill Gardens are friendly, helpful. We actually arrived very late in the evening and way past the office hours. But the site manager still welcomed us in a most professional and helpful way. We were very grateful for that.

Went there with boyfriend for a short Brisbane trip. Excellent location, close to everything. It is clean and cosy. We really enjoyed the tropical garden there which is rare in City. Staff were very friendly and suggested a lot of places to go. Great value for money.

While not the plushest of places to stay, and admittedly somewhat dated, I still choose Spring Hill Gardens Apartments as my go-to place to stay when visiting Brisbane. Why? Because you get a split-level home with all the facilities, rather than just a hotel room. Because there is ample underground parking (for a reasonable additional cost), and because it's a few minutes' work to downtown Brisbane. Though my unit was next to the main road, noise was never an issue, since it's not a busy road. The eleven apartment blocks are set in a small but leafy tropical garden. Wifi is free though not the speediest. These are serviced apartments, not hotel rooms, so you make your own bed between weekly bedding changes, which suits me just fine. Service was friendly and helpful. I'll be back.

This property did not refund my $200 deposit despite me contacting them numerous times, I eventually went back there and was told the reason was I did not empty the bin under the sink and the cleaners billed the manager for it. I’ve never encountered such a fee anywhere before and when I tried to reason with Sheena the manager she called the police. I cannot believe someone would waste police resources over a petty matter. I left as I wanted no further part of it. If you are unfortunate enough to stay here do not get tricked into paying a deposit.
