Corinthia Budapest

Our stay at Corinthia Budapest was exceptional from beginning to end. The hotel is stunning, combining historic elegance with modern luxury. The rooms were spacious, beautifully designed, and impeccably clean. The staff were warm, professional, and always willing to help, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The breakfast offered an excellent variety of fresh, high-quality food, and the restaurants served delicious meals in a beautiful setting. The Royal Spa was one of the highlights of our visit—relaxing, luxurious, and perfectly maintained. The hotel's central location also made it easy to explore Budapest's main attractions. We had a truly memorable experience and would highly recommend Corinthia Budapest to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay. We can't wait to return!

What an absolute amazing hotel. Fantastic location, close to everything Staff were so helpful and friendly. Only down side was the room was so hot and nobody could help to turn heating off

We had an amazing stay at The Corinthia. We received a warm welcome on arrival and a room upgrade as we were staying for a week. It was my birthday and Christmas during our trip and the hotel team left treats in our room for both occasions. All the staff we encountered were helpful and friendly. The bar area was a great place to relax after a day of exploring. Aspects of our room were a little tired and if I had paid for this room type I may have been slightly disappointed. It's easy to get around in Budapest as the public transport is brilliant, reliable and regular. There is a tram stop outside the hotel with the nearest metro station only a short walk away.

The hotel is a wonderful experience to stay in particular if you appreciate historical flair. Definitively the spa and swimming pool is a great place to visit. It was included in our room category, but for other room rates may not include it and you need to pay for the spa and swimming pool. The personal was very kind and helpful! Breakfast was wonderful as well, however, the served coffee at the breakfast was terrible. It was not only on one day but seems to be a general feature. I wonder why this five star location does not invest in a high level coffee facility. But at least the room had a small pad coffee machine which allowed to have a good coffee! The general experience in this hotel was exceptional!

All round the Corinthia Budapest is a great hotel with good prices and excellent service from very friendly employees throughout the hotel. Excellent spar. Relaxed lounge areas. The bedroom on fifth floor was very nice clean and comfortable. The heating system is set at a high temperature which can become quite uncomfortable in the middle of the night. Loved the Christmas decorations and Christmas Sunday brunch with free flowing beverages.  Very tasty food in the restaurant. The only issues we would highlight is the problem with the hotel being so big that the breakfast restaurant gets very crowded with delayed self service causing the food to become cold by time you sit down. This is also due to many guests leaving the Bain Marie food service warmer lids open as they are rushing to get food. Also the coffee is machines are not good quality or require servicing as the coffee was warm or cold once milk or cream was added. This was the case everyday over 5 days we never got a hot coffee.  Hot food and drinks are very important and this was unfortunately the only let down during our stay.  Hence the reason for a lower review score.  Aside from this I would recommend the hotel.
