Four Winds Motel & RV Park

The motel was very clean and well kept, the owner was very kind and respectful, he and his wife are very easy to work with and informative. One of the best motels I’ve ever stayed in. We felt like we were at a five star hotel!

Sad and shabby motel. The atmosphere is bleak. Shower door broken, and no place to put soap etc. in stall, unless directly on floor. Piles of used appliances outside, and in room a broken one serving as "furniture." Very noisy due to thin walls. Reasonable price, and room fairly spacious. Outdoor carpeting worn to dirty rags. n OK place to sleep in a pinch but I would not return.

everything was as advertised. clean, price was real reasonable. We stayed on a monday evening and all but a quick shop, was closed when we went out to eat. The bathroom was small but had a walk-in shower. The beds were hard but they never lead me to believe otherwise. check in was efficient and friendly.

I was very pleasantly surprised at how nice this place was, especially for the price! You can tell it's been remodeled and kept very clean. Very nice rain shower. Really, the only negative would be the towels and washcloths. They were very rough and practically threadbare. We were greeted and checked in by Alice who couldn't have been more pleasant and helpful. I'd stay again if I were ever in the area again.

Very nice and clean rooms to relax in after a hard day of hunting. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Very convenient location for hunters. Coffee pot refrigerator and microwave smart tv’s free internet.

This was a wonderful find in just the right spot to make it our base camp for a few days as it is close to White Oaks, Capitan Mountains, 3 River Petroglyphs, Ruidoso and so much more. The hotel was clean and a welcome site as we had just spent 3 times as much on a room in Taos which was awful. The room had a walk in shower and makeup mirror in the bathroom, large screen TV, table and chairs and very spacious. The owner was wonderful and really cares that your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. Don't let the fact that it is an older motel fool you. It is really a well refurbished gem. The 4 Winds Restaurant across the street has the best patty melts and fries. Just a nice change from the high cost of supposedly higher end hotels and restaurants, sometimes the small town feel is so much better.
