General hotel spaces were clean, and the room was mostly so. There were hairs in both the beds although the sheets did appear washed. It looked like the hairs were stuck into the sheet weaving. Didn’t love that but moved on.
The discomfort of this day was mainly due to the AC/heat. We were there when highs were around 50 and lows in the 20s. Most would think he would put heat on at those times, but for whatever reason the room would progressively get warmer without it. we tried turning nothing on at all the first night but when we woke up the room was several degrees hotter than we went to bed. It was hard to sleep due to sweating and heat.
The next two nights we tried the Aceon to keep the room cool, but that was minimally effective. It came on every few minutes and would never get the room below 71°. But the worst part is that when it was on every few minutes, it made a horrible high-pitched sound, nothing like a normal AC although it would start as a normal sound for the first couple minutes of running. So although the room was cooler, it was harder to sleep with that I’m noxious sound coming on every few minutes.
Everything else was fine. Breakfast was good and varied each day. The staff was helpful.
But when you can’t sleep at a hotel it really ruins the stay overall, unfortunately.
