Really lovely room. Beautiful. Fabulous after hours check in and great communication. A bit of maintenance needed on the bathroom - grout replacement needed and hanging lightbulb, but these were relatively minor cosmetic. The sheets were a bit scratchy. Suggest updating to softer ones, but will definitely stay again

The hotel was lovely and the staff are very friendly, i liked that they had things like toothbrushes and razors in the bathroom so if you’ve forgotten them they are there

The property is about 20 min from town center, and it is easily walkable to there or via bus. Parking (or car park) was easy and we had no trouble finding space. Since it is a walk from town center, it's more quiet than being in the city if you prefer peace and quiet after a long day.

The hotel is simply beautiful - like visiting a relatives' home. I thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful bedroom and ensuite facilities. Pure luxury.
The only thing that I was unclear about was the dining/bar options - the photos looked great but I did not see any signs or indications of either.

Walkable to the Royal Mile area while keeping a reasonable price for the room.
An older building, but to be expected due to its proximity to the Old Town.
Friendly staff. Lovely cafe for breakfast nice and close.
A comfortable and adequate stay while staying close to Edinburgh highlights.
