Echarm Stays in Changsha

The hotel is conveniently located about 300 meters from Wuyi Square subway station. Downstairs, there are plenty of food options like Ben Luobo, Sishiping, Gude, and Gongjiao Xincun, all within a short distance. It's also just a few hundred meters from IFC and Taiping Street, making the location very convenient. The only issue was a slight musty smell in the room. I later realized it was likely coming from a floor drain near the sink. I had to use wet tissues to cover it when I slept at night. I suggest the hotel add a silicone cover for the drain.

First off, the hotel is centrally located, close to the main road, yet it's surprisingly quiet and peaceful. Secondly, all the facilities are incredibly well-maintained and look brand new; you'd never guess it's been open for several years. The front desk staff are really welcoming and enthusiastic – you're greeted with cheers as soon as you walk in. The cleanliness is spotless; you could literally walk barefoot in the room. Plus, there's a Zhijian bookstore downstairs where you can grab a bite and take some great photos. It's truly a one-stop shop for relaxation and entertainment!

Upon entering the lobby, the Nordic minimalist ambiance hits you right in. The natural wood tones and soft lighting create an instantly relaxing atmosphere. The front desk staff checked you in quickly and provided helpful recommendations for nearby attractions. The bedding in the room was incredibly comfortable, with the perfect firmness. I had a good night's sleep and felt refreshed the next day. The bathroom had separate wet and dry areas, consistent hot water, and excellent toiletries. The breakfast was plentiful, with both Chinese and Western options, and the taste was delicious, making it a great start to the day. The overall value for money was excellent, and I'll definitely choose Yishang again when I'm in the area!

Location : very near to subway station ( 1 min walk to Yuhua District Government station) and easy to go to Changsha South Railway Station. Lots of restaurants and fruit stalls nearby. (9.5/10) Room : different from mentioned on the web. On the web mentioned 39 m2 for Deluxe Room, but actually is less than 30 m2. (7/10) Service : quite helpful but not excellent. Big thumbs up to the Yishang Hotel Gaoqiao branch! The warm greetings from the staff were consistent throughout my entire stay. From the lobby to the elevator and even the corridors, every staff member I encountered smiled and greeted me proactively. This feeling of being respected was truly wonderful. The room facilities were all-inclusive. The bathroom's wet and dry separation design was well-thought-out, and the shower had great water pressure and consistent temperature, making showering incredibly comfortable. I can't stop thinking about the special rice noodles at breakfast. The beef toppings made the soup noodles savory and rich, the rice noodles were smooth and springy, and the broth was simmered with beef bones – you could tell it was made with genuine ingredients from the first sip. Highly recommended!

This hotel boasts a fantastic location, right next to the subway station and very close to Wuyi Square. In the mornings, you can take a pleasant stroll in Martyrs Park. The surrounding area offers a wide variety of options, including Wanjiali and Yangfan Night Market. The hotel facilities are brand new and spotless, and the staff provided excellent, friendly service with a constant smile, even offering a thoughtful laundry delivery service. The breakfast features authentic Changsha rice noodles, which were delicious and filling. It's definitely my top choice for a stay when traveling!

The room is spacious, hygienic, and the environment is OK. A magnifying mirror can be arranged in the makeup mirror to facilitate women's makeup. Unfortunately, I left too early in the morning and did not have breakfast.
