During the May Day holiday, I stayed at The Wellesley. As soon as I entered the hotel, there was a faint, pleasant fragrance, and the room also had a lovely scent. It was very calming and helped me sleep soundly, which is rare as I usually have trouble sleeping in new places. The holiday experience was excellent—very comfortable and peaceful. The welcome fruit was delicious, fresh, and sweet. The hotel butler was also very responsive to any requests. The hot water was instant, no need to wait for cold water to clear, which was a thoughtful touch. The staff were all very attentive, reminding me of the excellent Japanese service I experienced while living in Japan. As a guest, my stay was very enjoyable. I hope The Wellesley maintains its original charm and that the staff get well-deserved raises!

The hotel environment is elegant, and the public areas are always kept clean. The mattress and pillows are very comfortable, and the bathroom experience is excellent. The overall experience was great, and I highly recommend staying here. The lobby is clean and grand, the room layout is well-designed, and the space is not cramped. The front desk staff are welcoming, and the check-in process is simple and efficient. The room is clean and dust-free, thoughtfully decorated, and well-equipped with amenities.

A very pleasant stay! 😊 The hotel service was excellent. A week before our arrival, a concierge called to confirm our check-in time and asked if we needed any children's amenities since we were traveling with my son. We booked a two-bedroom suite, which was fully equipped and comfortable. The kitchen had a microwave, a capsule coffee machine, a large refrigerator (which was clean and odorless), and a washing machine. There were two bathrooms, not huge, but perfectly adequate. The master suite bathroom had both a bathtub and a shower, and the water pressure was great and very comfortable. The hotel is relatively close to bustling areas like Wuyi Square and IFS (International Finance Square), about a twenty-minute drive. Those with good stamina could even walk. However, due to the hot weather, we mostly took taxis, which were inexpensive, usually around ten to twenty RMB to popular attractions. For Orange Isle, taxis have restrictions, so we opted for the subway. The hotel is less than a 10-minute walk to Furong Square Metro Station. From there, it's just 3 stops on Line 2 to Orange Isle Metro Station, and the attraction entrance is right outside, which was very convenient. During our four-day stay, the front desk staff and servers were all very welcoming, always greeting guests warmly whenever they saw them.

I came to Changsha for a concert, and as a Meixi Lake girl, I specifically chose to stay at Jinmao. Even though I checked in after midnight, the hotel still honored my request for a room with a full view of the Meixi Lake Grand Theatre. Both the hotel and the room were luxurious, the window view was incredible, and the service was excellent. The gym and swimming pool were free to use, and there were lounge areas with yoga and kids' play zones in the atrium every few floors. For just a few tens of yuan more, I enjoyed a minibar with snacks and drinks, welcome fruit, Häagen-Dazs, and three travel photoshohoots, which could be taken within the hotel and Grand Theatre area. This was incredibly meaningful for me, traveling alone! Overall, the experience was fantastic, and I'd love to stay here again.

I highly recommend this five-star hotel; the service was excellent. When I checked in, the front desk gave me afternoon tea and a voucher for their vinegar chicken lunch. The room was spacious and comfortable, meeting my expectations for a high-end hotel. The breakfast was delicious, easily the best I've had at any hotel this summer. The price was reasonable, and its location at the intersection of two metro lines in Changsha made getting around incredibly easy, with taxi rides costing only about 10 yuan to most places.

Let me start with the positives. The service was incredibly thoughtful and attentive. If you're staying in a corner room, they'll call you in advance to let you know. The staff are very enthusiastic and quick to help with any requests. They also offer free Hanfu (traditional Chinese clothing) in the lobby, which is great for photos. The hotel is quite proactive about environmental protection; the rooms provide reusable eco-friendly slippers, but they will also provide disposable ones if you need them. Now for the downsides: The building is quite tall, but there are only two elevators, so during peak breakfast hours, you can expect a long wait. In the room, when sitting on the bed, you can smell a drain-like odor, likely coming from the shower. The hotel's location is a bit far from most attractions by taxi, usually a 20-minute ride or more. However, it's right next to a subway station, so if you're not traveling with family and kids, taking the subway is a convenient option.

Excellent service! This has to be the best family-friendly hotel I've ever stayed in, bar none! And I'm not a shill! We booked a deluxe twin room and it was upgraded, and they took great care of both the elderly and children. The included Ocean Kingdom, Water World, and Snow World were all super fun and offered a great experience, comparable to Chimelong. Front desk staff member Wendy Huang also provided excellent service. The only minor downsides were that while the breakfast buffet was plentiful, if you went for dinner late, the food selection might be a bit limited. Also, it would be even better if the hotel shuttle bus had more frequent runs!

This hotel is quite unique, with individual villa-style accommodations. The grounds are filled with lush greenery, well-maintained and with beautiful colorful flowers. The resort is expansive, making it convenient to park if you have your own car, or you can use their shuttle service. It's right next to Window of the World and the Undersea World, as well as where Hunan TV films its shows, which is quite popular. I didn't get to the gym, and the swimming pool isn't in the same building as the rooms; it's in another building. It's an indoor heated pool, which was quite pleasant, and thankfully, it wasn't too crowded when I went. The staff I encountered were all very friendly, and the front desk was patient and helpful in resolving any issues. My room was clean and tidy, and the service staff were very welcoming.

This summer, I brought my child to Changsha. To escape the scorching outdoor heat and the dense crowds, I carefully chose the Wanjiali International Hotel. After staying there, my biggest feeling was: this is simply a 'summer retreat' tailor-made for families like ours who are sensitive to heat and prefer not to bother with too much hassle! **Room Experience: Full of Childlike Fun, Perfect Details** We booked a parent-child themed room. Upon arrival, as there were no rooms available, the staff proactively upgraded us to a parent-child themed suite. Because we had to wait for more than 10 minutes during check-in, the staff thoughtfully prepared some fruit as an apology. The service attitude was very satisfying. The room was very spacious, with two separate areas, offering ample space. Even with a tent set up on the floor, it didn't hinder adults from walking around or opening suitcases, which the child absolutely loved. The soft furnishings of the room were very well-thought-out, with an antique design and rounded corners, so there was no need to worry about the child getting bumped. What surprised me most were the details in the bathroom: not only were special toiletries for children and a non-slip step stool provided in advance, but even small water toys for bathing were ready. It was super convenient for toddlers to wash their hands by themselves on the stool, and I, the 'old mother,' finally didn't have to hold the baby with one hand and the showerhead with the other! The best decision was choosing this place because you can 'play all day without leaving the building'! The hotel itself is a giant complex. You can go straight down to the indoor amusement park and children's products city on the 5th floor. Outside, it was 38 degrees Celsius, but inside, the temperature was constantly controlled. In the morning, we played at the indoor zoo and arcade on the 5th floor. In the afternoon, the child was tired and went straight back to the room for a nap. In the evening, we went to the food court on the basement level to eat local snacks. We didn't have to endure the scorching sun to change locations, nor did we have to wait in line for a taxi. The child had a great time, and the adults truly got to relax. Besides entertainment, the World Cultural Grand View Garden on the 11th floor is also a treasure. We took the child to explore the 680-meter 'Along the River During the Qingming Festival' ceramic art corridor and also saw the miniature model of Changsha. The child asked questions as we walked, and before we knew it, two hours had passed. It was much more vivid than learning history from textbooks and easily took care of the summer research homework. The hotel is right at the subway station (Wanjiali Square Station). You can take Line 2 directly to attractions like Juzizhou and Yuelu Mountain, making transportation extremely convenient. If you're driving, the hotel also has a super large free parking lot, so you don't have to worry about difficulty finding parking at tourist spots. Moreover, the hotel boasts 'seven-star facilities at a four-star price.' Compared to parent-child rooms around Wuyi Square that cost thousands, the value for money here is truly outstanding. Overall, I'm very satisfied. Next time I come to Changsha, I will book the Wanjiali Hotel again.
