The room design is decent. However, the hotel seems to have been open for a while, as some facilities are showing their age. On the positive side, the location is quite good, being close to Sichuan University. I had heard from friends before that some of Chengdu's most authentic and delicious food could be found around the university. My friends and I tried the local teppanyaki and Zigong-style stir-fries, and they were absolutely delicious! There are also plenty of bars nearby, which makes the area quite lively and fun.

The hotel's location was a bit tricky to find, tucked away down a winding street near the lively bar street. However, our room faced the residential complex, so it was relatively quiet. The room interior matched the pictures online. The design really maximized every inch of space. What I didn't like was that the showerhead was unusable and the water pressure was very weak. There was also nowhere to hang towels near the sink, and no trash bin. The bathtub, though, was massive. Additionally, there was no wardrobe or hangers. All in all, it wasn't a very convenient stay.

Hot water is readily available in the rooms, and the complimentary bottled water in the mini-fridge was a nice touch. This hotel is my top choice for both business and leisure travel. The rooms are very stylishly designed, and the housekeepers are very thorough, keeping them spotlessly clean. The gaming rooms also boasted excellent internet speed and new, high-spec equipment.
