It was my very first experience with a Chinese hotel and I did enjoy my stay there a lot. It’s located in a pedestrian zone next to Wenshu monastery with a lot of food and shopping options nearby. In the night the area gets rather empty, so the guests should not worry about the street noise. Metro station is about 7-10 min away. I loved the traditional Chinese courtyard architecture of the hotel, the breakfast was nice, primarily Chinese with a couple of western food options as well. Quite appreciated the stuff, they were very helpful and spoke English fluently which is not always a default in China.

We had a great time staying at the hotel, the courtyard was beautiful and the staff were super friendly. Our high-speed rail was booked for 3pm, they let us check out after 2pm, which gave us the morning to roam and enjoy Chengdu a bit more. Breakfast was also delicious! There is a washing machine, but it's quite small, we overestimated how much clothes it can hold, would recommend doing smaller batches so items can dry properly. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience =)

A nice stay spoiled on the last night.
The water in my room stopped running on the last night of my stay. Couldn't flush my toilet when I'd just used it, couldn't wash my hands, couldn't shower, and couldn't brush my teeth. It was too late and inconvenient for me to move rooms so I had to shower elsewhere. This was just a disaster, there's no other way to put it. So your experience with the amenities may vary.
Apart from that this is a nice hotel in a good location.

I recently spent four nights at Louise Hotel and had a truly wonderful experience. The service stood out from the very beginning; staff members were consistently helpful, accommodating, friendly, and polite, which created a welcoming and stress-free atmosphere throughout my stay.
The hotel itself is beautifully designed and immaculately maintained. My room was clean, modern, and extremely comfortable, with thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. One of the highlights was having my own private pool, which added a luxurious and relaxing touch to the stay. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, allowing for restful nights, and the amenities provided were of great quality.
While the overall experience was excellent, there were a couple of minor inconveniences. The location is not as central as I would have preferred, meaning I had to travel a bit to reach restaurants and shopping areas. In addition, breakfast was not included, so I was unable to enjoy it at the hotel and had to rely on takeout.
Despite these small issues, Louise Hotel exceeded my expectations. It offers remarkable service, affordable rates, and modern, comfortable rooms that make it an outstanding choice for travelers. I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cost-effective yet memorable hotel experience.

Amazing customer service proficient in Chinese and English! Upgraded our single rooms to double room for free and was welcoming for a late 1am check-in time. Very clean and modern rooms with a delicious breakfast buffet. Staff willing to make coffee for us each morning, free umbrellas, a small garden courtyard to wind down, probably the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in for this price range! Highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the city but away from busy streets, tucked in near a temple and side street eateries yet only a 10 min taxi to popular attractions. One flaw:
No designated car park for taxi. Have to walk 20 metres to a side street, not a big deal but please be aware as it might be hard to find. There is a sign but we didn’t notice at 1am haha. You’re in the right street if you see this entrance -＞

We really enjoyed our stay! This hotel is great for families. First, it’s across the street from a metro station (line 1) and very close to affordable, clean and delicious restaurants. Second, there is a great kids play area on the floor. Third, a free laundry room with soap provided!
Additionally we appreciated the buffet breakfast, and as English speakers we were pleasantly surprised by the large collection of English children’s books off the main restaurant in the kids play room. My kids wanted to stay at breakfast all day!
Initially our room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke but the staff was responsive and moved us to a clean smelling room. I will say that as a Canadian traveller the cigarette smoke in the hallways is very unpleasant, but seems standard to many of the hotels we have stayed in in China.
The staff were very helpful in person and via WeChat. They gave me a great recommendation for a dry cleaner down the road who cleaned my running shoes so they look brand new.
Would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

My experience at the hotel was excellent. It's centrally located with a subway station right downstairs, making it incredibly convenient to get anywhere. The facilities are top-notch, service is prompt, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. It's definitely my top choice for business trips – simply outstanding!

For our family's self-driving trip, we booked two twin rooms. Fortunately, one of them was upgraded to a panda-themed family room due to a booking system glitch.
Even before we arrived, the concierge proactively contacted us to confirm our arrival time, which was a very thoughtful touch.
**Location**: It's a tranquil oasis nestled in an alley near the old Baima Temple site, reminiscent of a traditional *machiya* I once stayed in Tokyo. We parked our car in the backyard, and the staff even brought our luggage to the lobby.
**Ambiance**: The dry landscape garden in the courtyard is both exquisite and grand, incorporating all my personal favorite design elements. The lobby entrance and front desk feature beautiful walnut wood decor. The staff are all incredibly gentle and professional young women, dressed in elegant, uniform new Chinese-style robes. Their attention to detail is evident everywhere, right down to the fresh lotus flowers and pods in the vases.
**Service**: During check-in, we were offered refreshing cold brew white tea, with its delightful floral aroma and coolness. Our family room was on the second floor, and the twin room on the first. We had quite a bit of luggage—five or six suitcases—all of which the staff kindly helped us carry to our rooms.
The rooms are simply and tastefully decorated, combining understated elegance with high quality. They feature high-end fixtures like Kohler faucets and rain showerheads, and the family room even came equipped with Jellycat toys. After checking in, we went out for dinner. While waiting for our car in the courtyard, the staff suggested we wait inside the lobby. However, we preferred to sit outside, and noticing this, they thoughtfully brought us mosquito repellent, concerned about insects. This small gesture truly made us feel even more cared for.
Upon check-in, each room received two packets of tea – one black tea and one jasmine – which we enjoyed with the complementary tea set. It was perfect for a calming late-night drink after a meal that was a bit too spicy and salty. In the evening, they had sweet soup reserved for us, which was delivered to our rooms past 11 PM. We received four bowls of delicious, sweet, and refreshing mung bean soup. It was so good, though there was so much we couldn't finish it all, which was a shame!
Overall, despite only staying for one night, I would absolutely choose to stay here again on future trips to Chengdu and wholeheartedly recommend it to friends and family.

Autumn tour to Chengdu, west of Sichuan, first of all, I basically do not give any hotel reviews, but this time I will definitely, because it is really too good to be picky, I smiled at us when I entered the hotel, and gave us a Western Sichuan Raiders in the conversation and helped us contact the vehicle. Thank you very much! The room is very new and the equipment is very new, the health is great, the laundry room and garden on the roof are also our favorite points! The most important thing is that the sound insulation effect is too good, let me sleep well! Will definitely come again next time

MM849257****The overall experience of this stay was quite pleasantly surprised, and it was a stay with a price/performance ratio that exceeded expectations. Let me talk about the location first. It is really convenient. It takes only ten minutes to walk to Wenshu Monastery. The subway station is also nearby, so it is convenient to go anywhere. You can also go to Wenshu Temple for snacks in the evening. There are many small restaurants around it, and the atmosphere is full of life.
The hotel itself is relatively new, with a modern Chinese decoration style, which is clean, neat and a little elegant. There was a light scent of tea as soon as I entered the lobby. The front desk also upgraded me to a higher floor for free, saying that the view was better. Sure enough, looking out the window of the room, the scenery was unobstructed.
The details of the room are very thoughtful. For example, there are two lighting modes at the bedside, one is a warm and soft yellow, and the other is a reading light suitable for reading. The bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas, the water pressure is stable, and the toiletries smell fresh and not greasy, which is a plus.
The breakfast variety may not be too much because it is a new opening, but the quality is quite good. It is a set meal type and very refreshing.
There was a small incident. There was a small problem with the door lock on the night of check-in. I called the front desk and the technician came up in less than 5 minutes. He was very professional and polite.
To sum up, if you want to live in the city center but don’t want it to be too noisy, and like a hotel with a bit of life, meticulous service and reasonable price, you can really go to Anyi Yunqi Wenshu Road with your eyes closed. I will consider staying here again next time I come to Chengdu.

Daily cleaning service is provided, and if you prefer not to have it done, the housekeeping staff will leave essential items outside your door. The bed is soft and comfortable. The room isn't very spacious, but there's enough space to move around. On the second floor, you might hear some noise from vendors, but earplugs are provided. The staff is very attentive and dedicated to service.

The apartment is located on the sixth floor of Feidameiyu Building, very close to the subway Wenshu Station, convenient transportation, and the keys to the door are all next to the No. 1 apartment. The room is very new, the environment is very clean and stylish, the facilities are complete, the heating is strong, the bath water is directly electric, and the water pressure is not very large. Looking forward to staying again next time! 🥰
