Very close to the Xiao Shi Zi subway station, quite convenient to travellers using public transport. They also provide refreshments upon check in.

解放碑. Besides being at 21st floor, where there'll be some time in getting to the hotel, I am happy overall. Generally clean, well-mannered and professional receptionists, room is clean and tidy, water pressure is strong, towels are clean, bedsheets and duvet is comfortable. The bed is abit soft for me. It is walking distance to Jiafangbei. Across the road is a wholesale centre and along the way has alot of shopping malls. Conveniently located.

My friend and I traveled to Chongqing for a few days and stayed at this hotel the last night. It’s too bad we didn’t stay here all three nights. We had gone with a tour group that was a bad experience the nights before. Thankfully this last night redeemed the trip a little bit. This was a comfortable room in a perfect location. The room had a nice view as well. We walked to Hongya Dong in the evening, and then I walked across the bridge to Xiahao Li the next morning. We were both very happy with our stay. Things to keep in mind: The elevators are slow, so if you are in a hurry, plan your entry and exit times around peak use and be prepared to wait a bit. Trip.com says the checkout time is 2pm, which is perfect when you have a flight or train late in the day. However, when I went back to the room to get my luggage around 1pm, my card no longer worked. A housekeeper let me back in, and then another housekeeper came back before checkout to make sure I was leaving. Not a big problem, but it would be nice to have the card working and use the room up until checkout time with no inconveniences. We got a nice gift at checkout. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

My Hotel Stay – A Wonderful Experience! What I Loved: The hotel was super easy to find—much easier than I expected! If you take Exit 6, just look to your right, and you’ll see a tall building. Enter, take the elevator to the 21st floor, and you’ll find the reception. You can also take Exit 4A, walk straight, turn left, and cross a small road to reach the same building. But I’d definitely recommend Exit 6 since it has an escalator—perfect for anyone with big luggage like me! As soon as I arrived, the staff welcomed me with a refreshing drink, which was such a nice touch. I stayed for two nights, and to my surprise, they upgraded my room to a deluxe one with a beautiful view and even a bathtub! I’m not sure why, but I was really grateful. Honestly, I would have been happy just getting a non-smoking room, so this was a lovely bonus! I was a little worried about communication at first, but the staff were so kind and patient. During check-in, they made every effort to help me, even using a translation app to make sure I understood everything. WeChat was also super helpful—it made it easy to reach the staff whenever I had any questions, and they always responded so quickly! The hotel is such great value for money. The price was very reasonable, especially considering the central location. Everything was modern, the water pressure was great, and even the hairdryer was super powerful—honestly, it felt like a five-star experience! They also offer free city tours, which is a fantastic option! I didn’t join because I wanted to explore at my own pace, but it’s definitely a nice extra service. A Couple of Suggestions: (These aren’t really complaints—just little things that could make the experience even better!) One reason I chose this hotel was the free luggage delivery service to the airport. But I later found out that it’s only available for guests with a Mainland China phone number. I totally understand that it’s probably for easier coordination, but I think it would be great if international guests could use this service too! Maybe a simple meeting point at the airport (like Exit 3 on the 4th floor of the departure terminal) could work, where guests arrive a few minutes early to pick up their bags. Or even adding the driver on WeChat could make it easier. If this service is strictly for guests with a Chinese number, it might be helpful to mention that in the booking details. In the end, I decided to store my luggage at the hotel instead, which was still very convenient! My room didn’t have a fridge. This wasn’t a big deal for me, but I noticed that the booking details mentioned one. Luckily, the weather was cool at night, so I didn’t really need it, but I can imagine it might be inconvenient in the summer. Final Thoughts: Overall, I had such a great stay and wouldn’t hesitate to give this hotel five stars! The service went beyond my expectations, and I was especially touched by the kindness of a staff member named Xiao Zao. When I picked up my luggage, he personally walked me downstairs and even gave me a little gift—such a sweet gesture! One tiny suggestion: I know the staff work really hard, and their service is already amazing, so I think they should feel confident about that! If possible, I’d recommend avoiding asking guests for immediate reviews, as some people (like me!) prefer to take their time and write something thoughtful. But honestly, with such great service, I’m sure almost every guest will leave a glowing review anyway—especially because of the wonderful staff! I’ll definitely be back. Thank you for making my stay so special!

It has been a wonderful experience staying in this hotel with my family. Front desk staff was very helpful and cooperative. This hotel is good and economical too. Moreover, it's closeness to the Hongya Cave (Hongya Dong), Yangtze River Cableway, and Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street further makes it a good choice to stay if you come to Chongqing. Definitely a hotel that can be recommended
