My experience at this hotel was fantastic. The room was spotless, cozy, and had all the amenities I needed. What made the stay truly memorable was the outstanding service. January, the manager, was exceptional—friendly, attentive, and genuinely cared about guests having a great stay. She made everything so easy and stress-free. I wouldn’t hesitate to come back! Nathan and the reception team were also very lovely and welcoming and strive to help us with any request given. Will definitely be back very soon !

This place is barely a hotel. I'm not sure it is one. We stayed in what was called the Family Saloon which I hope was a typo ( maybe they meant Family Salon), but either way, there is no reception desk -- just a little table where some nice but not very effective girls sit at a computer and tell you they have to check with "reservations" which is somewhere else but I'm still not sure where. My office had to call maybe five times to get them to confirm the room with the company credit card and even then they kept asking me for the last four digits because "reservations" needed to confirm. Breakfast is included but you go a few blocks down for a very bad breakfast at the sister hotel the Park Grand Mayfair which at least has a reception desk and a little breakfast room, but it's also a townhouse. Do not accidentally go across the street to the Montcalm Mayfair Hotel which is apparently an evil step-sister hotel because they will quickly tell you that you are in the wrong place for breakfast and escort you across the street. I travel a lot and have maybe never loved a hotel less? Do not go! The two stars are for the A/C which works well and was appreciated.

We were very disappointed to find that there was no elevator in this hotel. They did help us with our luggage, but after a long day walking up three steep flights of steps to your room is no fun. Also, my room was shabby and dirty. The carpet was stained and worn; there were stains on the throw pillows and sofa; there was garbage in the bin; there was no cover for the batteries on the remote and worse of all there was something that looked like snot on the wall above the headboards. I told the front desk that my room was gross and needed to be thoroughly cleaned, when I came back later that night nothing had been done. Really icky experience.
