JJollyeahThe primitive, vast, desolate, mysterious and ancient Dahaidao is definitely worth a self-driving adventure. Generally speaking, it is safe. Choose a car with good performance, preferably four-wheel drive, fill up the tank, and make sure your phone can make calls. If you want to stay overnight, there are two places to choose from, one is the Hongliu Beach Visitor Center, and the other is the Mars Base. You can choose according to your preferences. The former is on the asphalt road and may be easier to find. The latter is best to arrive before dark, bring your own food, and watch the stars at night and the sunrise in the morning.

MM22***22Hami Huiwang Mansion is located in Huicheng Township, Hami City, in the northeast corner of the original Huicheng. It was rebuilt in the 45th year of Emperor Kangxi's reign (1706) on the basis of the original Mongolian Mansion. In June of the 19th year of the Republic of China (1930), Shamuhusot died of illness. The following year, the peasants revolted, and the troops stationed in Hami Province occupied Huicheng. In order to find treasures, they "burned and razed to the ground" the 200-year-old Huiwang Mansion, and even the "classic storage room" with hundreds of years of history was reduced to ashes with the fire. Swedish explorer Sven Hedin recorded the scene after the burning of the Huiwang Mansion in his book "Ma Zhongying's Escape".

Barkol Ancient City
MM29***62Barkol City, the name of an ancient city. Also known as Barkul City. Located in the southeast of Barkul Nur (also known as Barkol Lake) in Xinjiang, the city is named after the water. It was founded by Yue Zhongqi in the ninth year of Yongzheng (1731). The city is 8.2 li in circumference and 2 zhang (some say 1.9 zhang) high. There are 4 gates: East Chengen, West Desheng, South Peize, and North Gongji. There are four gate towers, four corner towers, and 20 enemy towers around it.

The lake is relatively dry now, with little water, but the scenery is still beautiful.
