Acropolis of Athens
NNadia777!Easy to walk from the closest metro, can be a bit crowded and hot if it’s sunny day in the summer, but I got lucky and there was a big cloud hanging over the Acropolis ❤️
Acropolis Museum
生生长在海边的果果The remaining things of the Acropolis are basically in the Acropolis Museum, so if you want to know the history of the Acropolis, you must go to the Acropolis Museum. You are not allowed to take photos of the important cultural relics in the museum, and there are not many of them. The goddess columns of the Erechtheion Temple in the museum are a must-see. The balcony of the cafe on the third floor can see the Acropolis opposite. The view is very good, don't forget to go. There are also developed ruins on the underground floor. You need to enter from the small door on the left after leaving the museum. Don't miss it.
Parthenon
老老少皆宜(程世荣)Athens is a city with many cultural relics, especially the temples. We visited many temples in Greece. When we took a boat tour of the Aegean Sea, we also visited the famous temples on the island. Greece is still very cultural.
Temple of Olympian Zeus
WwwwellllThe scene must be watched with the background story, otherwise you will just be looking at a pile of stone pillars. The temple is built with limestone, and the roof is made of marble. It is supported by 34 Corinthian columns about 17 meters high, 13 long and 6 wide. There are exquisite marble carvings on the gables and the porch of the inner hall, and there are many Athenian-style statues on the eaves.
Plateia Omonoias
悠悠然上路Concordia Square is located in the center of Athens and is an important transportation hub. The famous Women's Street and Plaka Old Town are nearby. It is said that the security in the Concordia Square area is a bit chaotic, but we feel it is okay. Of course, you should be careful in all aspects when you go out. We went to Athens in September 2015, just in time for the Greek general election. Concordia Square was very lively with various activities and interviews by various reporters.
Hadrian's Arch
金金冈金冈From here, you can cross the road to the Acropolis and embark on the pilgrimage. The old streets at the foot of the mountain are worth walking, a bit like Macau. The arch is in the park, close to Constitution Square.
Academy of Athens
LLavender and SunOn March 20, 1887, Ziller handed over the building of the "Sinaean Academy" to the Greek Prime Minister. The Athens Museum of the Coin was opened in 1890, and the Byzantine and Christian Museum and National Archives were renovated in 1914. On March 24, 1926, the building was transferred to the newly established Athenian Academy of Sciences.
National Archaeological Museum
生生长在海边的果果How can you not visit the National Museum when you come to Athens? The highlights include the golden mask of Agamemnon, the boy on horseback, Poseidon, the god of the sea, etc. There are still many exhibits. But they feel fragmented, and few are complete. There is no Chinese explanation. It is still tiring for me who has not used English since graduating from college to read the English introduction of each exhibit. The exhibition hall is quite large, and the main exhibits are on the first floor.
Panathenaic Stadium
小小思文The Athens Stadium is a more important place to hold the sports games. The facilities of the entire stadium are very many. The sports competitions here are also very rich. The scale of the Athens Stadium is quite large. I like to come here to visit and play.
