This hotel is centrally located within walking distance to the markets & main plaza. The beds are comfortable. Rooms with king bed are small. The courtyard is nice. The breakfast was average to below average. The internet is free but intermittent at best. There is a nightclub nearby which plays loud music until 3:30am which makes it really difficult to sleep.
The reason I'm giving this hotel a 3 star is because of the excellent service we received from Oscar Silva Casafranca. He was courteous, efficient and always pleasant & smiling. He helped with our baggage & was quick to answer any questions or queries we had. He's a huge asset to this hotel.

The people at the front desk were extremely helpful. A gentleman at the front desk named Wilson was especially helpful. He helped me contact an organization that I could not reach by phone. Wilson was first-rate!

The reception staff very nice and helpful
The hotel's door was closed. It was heavy rain outside she let us were waiting in the lobby at 3 am in he morning for tour guide to pick us up. She kept watching the mini van apoarching to the hotel in the monitor

The hotel was located in Cusco center city. It was a 15 minute drive from airport. Uber was available to take from airport to hotel. When we just entered the hotel through its street entrance we were afraid it was just a hole in the wall property. However once we were inside, it was great. The room was very nice. It even had a loft. The staff were super helpful. The breakfast was good too.

This was my first trip to a new country, and the staff at Tierra Viva Cusco Centro made me feel very welcome.
They were very helpful in giving me local information about restaurants, shopping, and points of interest. They even held my bag for me on the last day, after I had already checked out, so I could explore Cusco for several more hours before my plane flight home. Jimmi at the front desk even arranged a taxi pickup for me to the airport. I can't thank the staff enough, they were all wonderful.
The location of the hotel itself was very convenient. Cusco is a very walkable city, and I felt as though I was right in the middle of everything. No matter which way that I walked, there was something to see or do.
The breakfast buffet was also much better than expected, with fresh eggs, sautéed vegetables, meats, fresh fruits, juices, yogurts, cereals, coffee and tea... I'm probably forgetting something, there was so much.
Overall, I would highly recommend staying here. It's safe, it's clean, you're well cared for without it being bothersome, and extra was provided that wasn't even expected.
