Taoxi Qingshe Youth Hotel Reviews

This was a disappointing experience to say the least. The room we booked had a dreadful smell coming from the toilet drains, likely due to poor plumbing (no U-pipe). Because of this we had to keep the room window open at night to avoid the worst of the stench. This was not nice on a cold February night in Dali.

Good location. Good location, easy to find. Friendly staff and the hotel looks clean.

Probably the most modern and clean hostel I had ever stayed! Both bathrooms and bedrooms were like brand new! Def recommend!

Environment: A very comfortable inn. It looks small from the outside, but it is surprisingly big inside. There are clothes drying and small balconies on the second and third floors. There is also a small balcony on the rooftop where you can watch the sunset and get some fresh air at night. A very satisfying experience. The supporting facilities are very complete, including laundry room, drying area, coffee area, book bar, movie area, and activity area. The large rooftop terrace is also very comfortable. It's great.

I really like the big French windows facing the forest. It is at the foot of Cangshan Mountain and close to the ancient city, with convenient transportation.

The environment of the youth hostel is very good. The beds are clean and easy to wash. I especially like the lobby in Taoxi. I will choose Taoxi again next time I travel to Dali!

I am very satisfied with the ceiling of Dali Youth Hostel in every aspect. I stayed here for 3 days in a row. You can even have a meal together every day. The aunt’s cooking is very good. It is very close to the ancient city of Cangshan and Erhai Lake, and it is very convenient to travel!

The environment is nice and clean. The sunken public area feels like being in the forest. It is near the north gate of the ancient city, close to the living area. Boys and girls are separated, boys on the first floor and girls on the second floor. You can share meals, which are cooked by Bai aunties themselves. The taste is very good, and there is also breakfast. The hostel guy said that my suitcase is heavier than his life, hahahaha, it's hard work. If I have the chance to come next time, I will change to a smaller suitcase.

I stay here for a few days every year. The service environment is excellent. Compared with domestic youth hostels, there is also a service to help with luggage. There are free bath towels at the front desk. You can directly see wild squirrels through the large French windows at the front desk. The funny thing is that they are all fed and so fat.
