I was pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary room upgrade upon arrival. I was also impressed with the chic modern design, the sumptuous afternoon tea, breakfast, and the attentive service. The departure gift was a nice touch as well. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend Tinghua Island Garden Resort.

I stayed at Ting Hua Island Hotel for 2 nights during my Dali trip, and honestly, it was beyond expectations. From the moment I checked in, I felt genuinely welcomed by the team — every staff member was incredibly warm, attentive, and friendly. They even surprised me with a whole birthday cake! I mean, who does that? It was such a sweet and thoughtful gesture that really made my day extra special. The location is absolutely unbeatable. The hotel sits right next to the stunning Erhai Lake, and waking up to those endless sea views was pure magic. Watching the sunrise from my room felt like living in a postcard. It’s the kind of view you’ll remember long after you’ve left. The design of the hotel perfectly complements the natural beauty around it — every corner feels curated for relaxation. Whether it’s enjoying coffee by the window, taking a slow stroll along the lake, or just soaking in the peaceful vibe, everything feels effortless and rejuvenating. I also have to give a special shoutout to the team at the hotel: your hospitality genuinely elevated the whole experience. Friendly chats, great recommendations for local spots, and always going the extra mile — I felt truly taken care of. If you’re visiting Dali and want a hotel that blends breathtaking scenery with heartfelt service, Ting Hua Island Hotel is a must. I’m already thinking about my next visit!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Their luggage transfer service within the old street—a huge help given the walking distance and uneven terrain. The room amenities were not only complimentary but also thoughtfully tailored for couples and individuals. Our sea view was just as stunning as pictured, and the hotel offered excellent services, including photography, laundry, afternoon tea, evening soup, and a delicious breakfast. I can’t wait to return!

It was great staying experience with Tinghua Island. Did a bit of research to add their wechat for pre-arrangement I strongly recommend you do that to make your trip as smooth and as flexible as possible. The butler service who will take care your request fast, accurate and considerate. To have your luggage being taking care of when your car arrived, your afternoon tea arranged at the time you wish and things that you may forget. Facility is well maintained, up to date. Highly recommended when you consider to stay near Er Hai.

It's not just a place with beautiful scenery, but their thoughtful dedication made me want to return to Dali next time. My trip was to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary, and they gifted us a beautiful and delicious anniversary cake. What's special when you come here is that you're right in the ancient town of Shuanglang, which is very convenient to explore. The scenery at the hotel is very beautiful. Don't forget to enjoy afternoon tea with delicious and beautifully decorated dishes.
