I booked this place for the sea view, and it truly lives up to expectations – the stunning views of Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake are right in front of you. A special mention goes to the showerhead; it has so many modes and is the best I've encountered in any hotel. The room lighting is also very well designed. My only minor complaint is that the mattress was a bit too soft for me, so I didn't sleep as well as I hoped. Also, the room has an independent air conditioner. I stayed at several hotels over a few nights, and they all had central heating, which meant I was waking up hot every night and couldn't sleep – it was pretty miserable. So, if you're visiting Yunnan in winter, keep this in mind; being too hot can be worse than being too cold. The B&B is located near a ferry port, so it can be a bit noisy. If you're looking for a quiet lie-in, you might want to consider this, though closing the balcony windows helps a lot. The staff (the 'xiaojiejie' as we call them) were very warm and attentive. The B&B is also quite close to the high-speed train station and offers pick-up or drop-off services, which is a thoughtful touch. Overall, I'd still recommend it.
