Upon checking in the the lobby wastill with the smell of **** and the front desk staff was trying to deal with an upset family who wanted a room. The front desk staff couldn't figure out how to book a room and told them they needed to do it on a third party app. When I went to check in. I was told the total would be greater than what I originally booked it for due to fees and other charges. And the guy couldn't tell me exactly what it all was and I didn't bother to ask. I just wanted to get to my room. When I went to go to my room with my 2 children. We saw that the pool was out of service which we were never notified of and were disappointed as that was part of the reason we chose the hotel. When we got to our room, we found that the door locks did not work, so we ended up pushing furniture against the door to keep it shut. There was also no hot water for showers and the toilets did not flush unless you flushed them multiple times. When I tried to use the phone to call the front desk and ask about these things. We realized the phone did not work either. There was also little to no insulation in our room because we could clearly hear conversations from rooms around us as well as stayed up all night due to noise and the room above us. The next morning when I was checking out. I asked about these issues and the manager told me "yes, we know." And mentioned that they were doing construction to fix some of these issues. Unsafe, do not recommend, but I did get the bill corrected.
