Hyatt Place Madison/Verona

Had to wait a bit to get checked in. Not bad but a little longer than I would have expected.

Quiick and easy check in, amazing staff, welcoming environment and a clean & spacious room! Will definitely stay here again!

We've stayed here before. Great location, great rooms. The only down side - is I wish there were a water filling station in the lobby.

Rude front desk staff with inexperienced personnel and inefficient processes.

The room was very comfortable. The bed was a bit soft for our taste, but otherwise nice. Shower was excellent with nice hot water.

Room had the smell of dog. The a/c and furnace is actually in the room ! Very loud and distracting noise. Weird way they designed this room. The bed should have bed at other end of room and not four feet from the ac/furnace. The a/c vent blew cool air up and down wall. Little air got to our bed area.

Beds were comfortable. Breakfast had lots of choices and plenty of seating. The outside patio was nice and inviting.

We stayed a few days at the beginning of our vacation and 1 night at the end of our vacation. We loved that we could walk to dinner, loved the patio with the fire pit. Our 1st night there the hand towel that was hanging in our bathroom clearly had fresh makeup stains on it. There is no way whoever cleaned the room would not have seen it. We had plenty of other towels so just threw that one aside. Also, sink in the bathroom-my husband had to fix it so the water would drain. When I went to brush my teeth the sinker stopper would not open. Luckily my husband is handy. Also did not report that because we were exhausted, just wanted to go to bed. The breakfast was bad. I know the hotel was full but I just wanted some scrambled eggs and they were horrible. Beds and pillows were very comfortable, that why we like Hyatts. The one night we stayed at the end of our vacation, we got in very late after going to airshow in Osh Kosh. All I wanted was a big glass of ice water but our ice bucket had what looked like dried salsa inside of it and the bags provided don’t actually fit the ice bucket. The lady working the desk took care of it but it seemed like there were only a couple of people working and an entire wedding party checking in right after us. We do like Hyatts but this one seemed new and not prepared to handle guests
