My family and I enjoyed our recent stay at Citadines on Burke Melbourne. The standout positives were:
1. Staff Service: Check-in was excellent. The staff were warm, professional, and very helpful, setting a welcoming tone immediately.
2. Room Size: Plenty of room for luggage and for everyone to move around without feeling cramped.
3. Bathroom Amenities: The provided toiletries were nice quality and appreciated.
Items for improvements:
The spaciousness makes this hotel ideal for families. However, to make them truly perfect for families like ours, I'd suggest the management consider offering some room options with two queen-size beds to enhance comfort and sleep quality for parents and children sharing the room.
Despite this suggestion, we had a very comfortable and pleasant stay thanks to the great service, ample space, and good facilities. We would definitely consider staying again.

The hotel is located in the city center, making it convenient for sightseeing, shopping, and dining. The buffet breakfast offers a wide variety of options, including Chinese-style snacks and porridge, making it quite suitable for Chinese people.

I stayed at 3 hotels all near Flagstaff stations for this trip, just to try something new and compare. Excellent location and the Flagstaff garden is at the opposite. The Pegasus has a real kitchen and utensils since it's an apartment hotel. No view at all but it's ok for a night's stay. The bed is so soft but so as the Radisson and the Jazz hotel so I guess it's the standard?.. Staffs had reasonable service, but I overheard the guest in front of me checked out 30mins later than he should and the staff were not happy about it at all, like teacher talking to a misbehaved student. Overall it's price for money.

Overall I had a great stay! My room was pretty cozy and the location was conveniently close to trams and Souther Cross Station.
Amenities in the room were excellent (kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, heater, ironing board). Maybe bring your own slippers in winter as the tiled floor was very cold in the morning.
Quite a few obvious wear and tear but overall still decently clean. The only thing that bothered me was one of the kitchen utensils was still dirty.
If you are a light sleeper you would need earplugs as it’s quite noisy from the trains and trams passing by. Personally i enjoyed the background noise.
I enjoyed my night ins in the room with access to the TV and to be able to cook / heat up food.
Staff at the reception were all very lovely and welcoming.
I would stay here again :)

From the moment the duty manager totally ignored my requests even though I had emails and receipts to back up claims he blatantly ignored me and even dismissed me with an atrocious contempt. I asked him and the receptionist about these issues and was told take it or leave it. Absolutely appalled by this. Contacted duty manager next day and she was more responsive yet only said the previous manager had personal problems that day ? I asked about why my request were at least looked at and again provided receipts and emails that there was an mis communication between reservations and reception. No alternative but to stay although they did manage to move to another room. Although moved the noise levels from the supply rooms were unbearable and late into the night they were worse. I can’t say that this time it was a good stay but think hard before going there. Because issues arise and not dealt with at all. When I asked for the persons name was told no. Even though they have badges. Interesting.

I'll start with the service, as I felt deeply disappointed and unfairly treated during check-in. It was our birthday on August 20th when we arrived. After mentioning this to the receptionist, not only did we not receive even a simple 'Happy Birthday,' but we were also told to buy our own cake from a shop as the hotel offered no special services or gestures. This level of service is utterly inconsistent with what one would expect from a Crown Hotel and left us extremely disappointed! We provided feedback to the front desk during check-out, and while they offered an apology and champagne, it was too little, too late. A birthday only comes once a year, and we were truly let down.
**Facilities:** The hotel feels very new overall. The shower had a handheld showerhead, which is very family-friendly, especially for those with young children (many hotels in Australia don't have these...). The bedding was very comfortable. Disposable toiletries, drinking water, and slippers were provided – a nice touch, as we usually bring our own since many Australian hotels don't offer them.
**Cleanliness:** The room was spotless. The bathtub was clean enough for kids to bathe in, which gave us peace of mind.
**Location:** The hotel's location is excellent, with easy access to dining and transportation. It's located next to a casino, so there's a lot of foot traffic. However, room access requires a key card, so we felt secure.

Arrive in Melbourne, skybus to Southern Cross Station, come out very close to transfer to free tram86 or 96, get off at 6 stops, walk 5 minutes to the hotel, too convenient, the front desk is warm, the first floor coffee drinks are free, the children come to drink a cup of hot cocoa every day. The rooms are spacious and clean, and there is a kitchen with tableware.

It is a really good 💯 experience in this apartment, quiet, clean, near Flinder street, easy access to the train station, in the middle of the free tram zone. The best part is with a gorgeous city view, especially the sunrise view, it will melt your heart and make your day.

The hotel is very unique and has a cozy feel. I booked a riverside room with a view of the Yarra River. The restaurant is great, and if the weather is nice, you can have breakfast by the river. The croissants and coffee in the cafe are excellent. The spa is especially recommended. I had a facial, and for $250, it was very cost-effective. Because I was in a hurry, the spa staff even started my service half an hour early. It felt very appreciated. It was a very good stay and I will go back next time I have the chance.

I stayed in Melbourne for several days. After staying in a modern hotel for a few days, I wanted to experience the flavor of an old hotel with a sense of history. I originally wanted to book a Windsor hotel, but found that it was not convenient because it was east of the CBD. City Walk accidentally discovered this old Victorian building opposite the Southern Cross Railway Station. I placed an order in advance. I passed by the lobby the first night and asked the administrator if I could store my luggage in advance and then check in that night. The answer was no problem. , and also asked carefully about the specific requirements. It was past nine o'clock when we returned from the Great Ocean Road that day. I received a warm reception. After checking in, I wanted to pick up my luggage, only to find that help had already been sent to the room in advance. The extra bed had been laid, and there were handwritten welcome cards and candies on the table. .
The house itself is an old-fashioned apartment that is rented on a long-term basis. Each floor is an L-shaped corridor, with a total floor height of six floors. The room we booked was a loft-style suite with a kitchenette and living room. The overall facility decoration is relatively old, but very clean and tidy. There is a swimming pool, restaurant and small library on the ground floor.
I personally feel that the price is reasonable and the transportation is convenient. It is suitable for those who want to experience the old-fashioned style and do not have particularly high requirements for accommodation conditions.

GGuest UserTypical sterile boring but very functional Hotel. Not much difference in many of these types of hotels dotted around the city. It is purely there to do what it advertisers to do which is provide a comfortable night accommodation but has about as much excitement and spark as my 95-year-old grandfather. 👴…. It’s as boring as you would expect it to be sitting off the edge of the city. however, the rooms were very clean and the bed comfortable so no complaints in that respect. I would definitely stay here again if I needed a night accommodation purely for a night accommodation. unfortunately this is where hotels are heading in this functional world of ours. Boring but functional. If there was a pod hotel in Melbourne, I would definitely stay there instead of here as at least a pod hotel will have a travel vibe to it.

JJenny Jenny JennyCheck-in on the first floor, after entering the room, the room is strange, I don’t want to sit low and change the room immediately, it’s not wrong, change the 11th floor, the view feels comfortable, the kitchen utensils are relatively old, the decoration is generally the same, the scenery is good~

YYANGThe location is right on the edge of the city center, lively and quiet, the environment is good. However, the front desk is not in the same place as the apartment and needs to be found, so it is best to know some English. In addition, the house is separated by a partition, the sound insulation effect is not very good, the party is opened next door, and it is very loud.

穷穷困的用户The one-bedroom apartment I originally booked was upgraded to a three-bedroom apartment (actually a two-bedroom and one-studio) without any notice. The original one-bedroom was very cheap. The kitchen is a rare gas stove in an Australian hotel apartment, which is convenient for cooking. The swimming pool is small, but there is a 25 meter walkway, and there is a spa, sauna, and the night view of the Yarra River is also beautiful, which is really good value. The traffic is normal. It is close to the Southern Cross Station, but it is far from Federation Square, which means that it is not close to Chinatown and the main shopping area. It is close to the office area, which is suitable for business trips. The only pity is that its front office is beside a turntable, and there is no place to park for free around it. The only parking spaces that can be seen are also for the police. In this way, after you drive out of the garage, returning the keys is a very crazy thing. I don't know if anyone else solved it. I parked the car on the turntable, rushed in, threw the key and ran. . . . . . Too embarrassing. Check-in also has this problem, because its garage requires a key to go in. It can't be like other hotels. Stop in and then go out to check in. But if you do n’t check in, you do n’t have the key. . . .

AAnonymous UserLights are not working, and we asked for another room, when we’re going in to the room, the lock on the door just dropped 🙃
In the morning the fire alarm started ringing, no broadcast and no any staff knowing what happened.
According to the lady who helped us check in, told us that they were short of staff, and maybe that’s why we asked for slippers for two nights in a row on their rooms service website, they never delivered to us🙃

MMattyFLocation is very good because it is just next to a stop on the free tram system. There are shops and supermarkets nearby and some restaurants. You can also easily walk to the CBD, river and Southern Cross Station. It is relatively large and has plenty of amenities. The only negative was that the soft chairs are covered in highly visible greasy food and drinks stains. They should either use a faux leather or something or throws that can be washed. Also there seemed to be a huge excess of bedding which got tangled and uncomfortable. A simple duvet, sheet and two pillows would be better in my opinion. But otherwise, all good!

KKantawatI had a fantastic stay at this hotel in Docklands! The location is perfect—right by the waterfront with easy access to public transport, shopping, and great dining options. The room was modern, clean, and very comfortable, with a beautiful view of the city and harbor.
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and any requests I had were handled promptly and professionally.
Amenities like the gym and pool were well-maintained, and I appreciated the quiet atmosphere despite being in a busy area. It was the perfect balance between convenience and comfort.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Melbourne, especially if you’re looking to stay somewhere scenic, well-located, and welcoming. I’ll definitely be back!
