This is a very nice hotel and situated perfectly only a short walk from the city centre shops, most importantly it has its own car park with ample spaces, my wife has a disability and we got parked in a disabled space right outside hotel reception, parking is charged at only £4 per night. The disabled room we had was very clean and spacious and had a large toilet with wet floor and power shower, food in the attached beefeater restaurant was also very good breakfast and dinner, I can’t really fault this hotel.

Basically the hotel is well sited, some rooms have great estuary views, it’s all near the V&A, HMS Discovery and the railway. Rooms were standard PI but the air con in my room wasn’t functioning. The weather was VERY cold for June, so after 2 days of being very cold Reception turned it off, and after that it couldn’t be adjusted so the room was too warm. I have to say that the food offered in the Beefeater couldn’t be less varied, chips with everything (cold in my case). If you want a coffee after about 9 or anything at all after about 9.45 forget it, the bar is closed. I watched about a dozen people be turned away before we were asked to leave at 9.55 so they could lock up.

Clean and comfortable large room with easy parking access out front. This does cost and is by number plate recognition. We arrived early afternoon but were able to park for the GBP 4 for 24 hours although we couldn't check-in until 3 pm. It was so very convenient for visiting the V&A Museum (Wow) and to walk into town. We didn't have their breakfast

It was literally a last minute online booking as somewhere should have been booked for me and wasn’t. My booking showed on the receptionist’s computer within seconds of my arrival. The room was clean, and the hotel is centrally located. There were plenty of parking spaces when I arrived at 6pm and I was happy to pay the £4 fee. As a lone female it was important to feel safe and I did. Also, being next to the river made for a pleasant evening walk.

I loved the quietness in room. Didn't enjoy staff allowing doors to slam during cleaning. Perfect location, central to all I wanted. Loved the food. Wish they had explained how to operate electric supply upon first entry - It really niggled. I should've advised of disabilities. Very happy overall

Excellent location on the river front. Room was clean apart from a couple of carpet stains. Bed was very comfortable but pillows a bit firmer than I am used to. The TV Freeview needs retuning as many channels out of date. Beefeater meal deal was good value but choice of beer very restricted.

Came to visit family. Hotel great central location. Room had comfortable bed but is too hot and you cant open a window. Heat made sleeping uncomfortable. We stayed 2 nights and only had one bath towel and one hand towel supplied for 2 people. Also you have to request if you want your room cleaned.

warm welcome, easy check in, inexpensive parking, close to V&A and easy walk to town for food and drinks - also a restaurant / pub on site

This hotel was horrendous. The staff were extremely unhelpful, laughing when I went to the desk to complain. There was no couch in the room, I have stayed in Premier Inn rooms up and down the country and there has always been a couch in each double room I have booked. However the reception staff here insist that a couch only comes in a triple room. This room was clearly set up for one adult, despite me phoning 2 days before our arrival to ensure they were aware 2 adults would be staying in the room. The air conditioning did not work, which forced me to go and complain again at Reception, they were then able to control this remotely meaning that it was warm but then turned into a sauna in the middle of the night. They refused to move us to another room despite this one having a massive void where a couch would normally sit, dampness in the bathroom, broken air con and only one chair for two people. They also refused to put two bath towels in the room, insisting we had to go back to reception later in the evening as towels were not available. We had clearly been put in a part of the hotel which requires maintenance, with both the state of this room and frayed carpets in the corridor. Will think twice about booking another Premier Inn after this.
