Really central hotel. Rooms are nicely decorated & we had a wonderful view of the ocean from our room. Staff were very friendly & service was good. We really enjoyed the traditional Irish music in the evening. Only point to note is that there’s no lift in the hotel. This wasn’t an issue for myself or my partner but my mum has mobility issues and did struggle with the stairs. My fault for not checking first! We had a nice time though and I would stay again with my partner.

Went here for food had the turkey and ham, was absolutely delicious, ham was slightly undercooked if I could fault the meal but will definitely be back, was busy and we waited 45 mins on our meals which was a bit too long but it was well worth the wait, highly recommend this place and it’s really nice inside, staff very friendly also

We had the most amazing one night stay. Really perfect in every way. The vintage vibe is such fun, warm inviting and interesting . Nicola was so welcoming, interesting and passionate about Joes restoration and the results it was a real highlight getting a wee tour and hearing the stories! Such interesting and quality pieces curated and found on site just add to the fabric of a great hospitality product! The staff were all so friendly and attentive, the room warm colourful and quirky! Finished were of a high standard and they have thought of everything! We loved it! Great sea views from our room we wish we had stayed longer so can’t wait to be back! Breakfast perfectly cooked and a lovely continental offering to start! So pleased we chose to stay in the Avocca as the event we attended had rooms but the Avocca had been on my places to see list! Look forward to seeing. Keep up the good work and look forward to being back again soon !

My husband and I enjoyed a night away in this beautiful boutique hotel over the Easter break. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel very welcome and relaxed. The staff were lovely, friendly, and very attentive. The bar is great - quirky and with a great choice of drinks. Very comfy seating too, with a view out over the sea. Our room was well appointed and very clean. Our only minor disappointment was the pillow choice. We found them to be very flat and they offered no real neck support. However, it could be that other pillows are available, as we didn't ask. This would be the only thing we would change. Another thing I would like to note is that the heating system is particularly efficient! Easy to operate and, as a result, we were never too cold or too hot, which is quite something for a hotel stay! Many thanks to the staff for such a lovely night away.

This place has everything. Really friendly & pleasant staff. The rooms are lovely, with or without sea views. The food is great too. Highly recommend for couples or family. We have been twice now within a year and look forward to going again 🥰

Worst resaurant ever. We had a table booked. On arrival we stood waiting for 10 mins before someone acknowledged us, got seated to the table the waiter guy had no customer service skills, he never spoke. After a bit we ordered our food. We waited 40mins on food. I ask the waitress regarding our food she went and checked came back out with one dishes only, went back into the kitchen and came out with another dish and then disappeared. We had kids in our party waiting for pizza. Waited 10 mins before having to look for the waiter regarding the pizzas. They arrived stoned cold and our mains were cold aswell. The waiting staff never acknowledged us. We got up and left. When paying at the bill the guy rudely shouted are bill over everyone. Will definitely not be back here. Need to improve there food and new staff. There’s no need to be rude if staff don’t want to work they shouldn’t be there. Will not be back and understand why the locals won’t eat in the place

But everyone done so well the food buffet went down amazing they even brought out seconds later on 😍 We said we would definitely be back some weekend !!
