Breakfast is very good . So is location . Rooms are fine with a hot shower . Would stay here again

Hotel in central location room very comfortable but very warm due to weather. Breakfast was fantastic delighted with the booking was an absolute bargain through Trip.com during the Royal military tattoo and fringe season! Would definitely return!

Room was clean and tidy. Heating system was good. Great location. Breakfast was very good.

Not very clean. Tiny room but overall okay for the price and convenient location for a night.

First desk receptionist was not friendly. Room was tiny. No way to call reception from room. Only hotel out of 6 we stayed at in Ireland/Scotland not offering free wifi. And once connected, you can't switch device without paying again. Stay elsewhere in Edinburgh.

The room was quite claustrophobic, we were in rm 409 and the window was high in the wall and you could only see roofs and sky. The window opened in, which was such a danger especially if you got up in the night and could easily walk into it. The traffic noise was an issue too. The bar should have been 24hr but we got back at 10.20pm and was told they close the bar for an hour to cash up and it would be open in 10 minutes. 10.30, 10.40 and 10.50 it was “in 10 minutes” eventually at 10.55 they said 11pm when the night shift start!!!!! They all appeared too busy chatting in a very quiet reception to bother with guests. The one good thing was that they have replaced sugar coated cornflakes with normal cornflakes which was about the only good thing I can say. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel x

Perfect location,within walking distance to everywhere we wanted to visit, great breakfast,lovely staff . Would definitely stop here again
