Summer Stays at The University of Edinburgh
"Everything went according to plan - nice staff good location and clean room thanks"
Destiny Student - Holyrood (Brae House)
"Very friendly staff. Rooms clean and bed very comfy. Helpful addition of small aircon unit made room less stuffy"
The Scholar
"The hotel is in a quiet and ideal location! Only 15 mins to the main city centre by bus, with bus stop being opposite the hotel. The staff were super friendly and accommodating, and made the stay comfortable. Unfortunately the hotel was under doing a renovation during the visit which meant some rooms and the hallway walls weren’t clean but I’m sure once the renovation gets done a it will a a clean hotel. Safe area away from the busy city centre. Recommend for solo and couple stays."
Destiny - Burnet Point
"This place was great for my fiancé and I during our Edinburgh trip. We got in a lot of steps throughout the trip as it is a tiny bit further out, but was still super achievable to walk everywhere. Grab your towel and body wash etc from reception when you check in. We also asked reception later on for a hair dryer. We could hear into the corridor quite easily, doors opening and closing etc, so don’t think the walls are that sound proof. Super simple room, but a good option if you’re just looking for somewhere to drop bags and sleep in during your trip."
Britannia Edinburgh Hotel
A quiet riverside location; just a 15-minute walk to Princes Street; 10 minutes to Haymarket Station.
Kick Ass Grassmarket (18+)
"Great stay at this hostel! The front desk staff are super friendly, and the rooms and bathrooms are very clean. Minor cons: the 3rd - floor sink is too small with a push faucet, but i notice 1st floor sinks are great. And breakfast have limited items. Still, it’s clean and easy to find, and I’d happily recommend it!"
Garner Hotel Edinburgh - Haymarket
"It was absolutely great. The service, amenities and facilities. Bus stip is right outside the door. Train station right across the road. City 15 mins by walking. It's 10/10 for me."
New Town Hotel
"This hotel was gorgeous! Great location, easy to find, sparkling clean, beautiful, smelled great, lovely views out over Forth Firth. Absolutely perfect."
Destiny Student – Murano (Campus Accommodation)
"Worm room window unable to open all but able to rent to the fan. 24hour reception and shampoo body wash toilet paper etc all free when you stay in great location. Chicken stove and dish washer.all good"

The Caledonian Edinburgh, Curio Collection by Hilton
"A great place to stay as it located rigt next to the castle. The carpark is just round the corner which is convenient Staff are very nice and the room is clean and tidy"
W Edinburgh
"the hotel is centrally located and walkable to all major site, it is attached to the only shopping mall in downtown so it is really convenient. the architectural design of the hotel is unique and stands out amongst historical buildings around, and very photogenic. However I have stayed in many W hotels around the world and I found this one interior qualities not up to par with the others, the decor and material of my room is cheap and not special, the toilet is so small and cramp, the vanity and sink is around 60cm and single sink, very tight to even get dry and undress. the room is dark with very small window, i think i stay in the back wing. Though the beds as usual are very comfortable. the hotel doesnt have much amenities there is no pool, entry lobby is very small [relatively], only one restaurant double as breakfast cafe and at night a japanese chain restaurant. two things also stands out. i do not recalled the last time i go in the hotel and there is a long line for check in which happens this time, there were at least 3 ppl in front and after me. and it takes a bit of time although the staff were very kind. also lines both nights when going to the bar, huge line on saturday, at least 12 ppl jammed in the lift lobby. I also noticed that there are not any native english speaking staff, not at the check in, nor maitre d at the bar nor the room service phone reception. we had a good stay but def a few things that stood out."
Apex Waterloo Place Hotel
"We ate in the bar one evening . The food was very good but waited a long time for it to arrive. Amenities and location excellent with proximity to the station and theatre . We would choose this hotel again ."

"I visited Edinburgh over Easter, which was also my birthday, and had a wonderful stay. Magda was incredibly kind and arranged an early check-in before noon after I confirmed the day before. She also surprised me with balloons and chocolates in my room for my birthday, which was such a thoughtful touch. The staff provided clear information and gave excellent recommendations on places to visit, making my first trip to Edinburgh even more enjoyable. The hotel’s central location was perfect, close to all the main attractions, and the pool was a great bonus. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would happily visit again."
