St Christopher's Edinburgh Original
"The hygiene was absolutely terrible. In the afternoon, while I was resting, the housekeeping staff was incredibly loud and threw the blankets and other items on the floor, which was very unsanitary."
Beaverhall Holiday Apartments
"Stayed for 2 nights with my friend and our mums. Apartment was clean and had everything you needed. Convenient location (we caught uber/taxi's to and from centre - around £10 per journey). Everything you needed. The only concern was the placement of the microwave, we had to use a stool at first to be able to work out how to use it as it was high up. The owners were very accommodating and couldn't fault. Will return if we visit Edinburgh again."
Britannia Edinburgh Hotel
A quiet riverside location; just a 15-minute walk to Princes Street; 10 minutes to Haymarket Station.
Destiny Student - Holyrood (Brae House)
"Everything was great. It's open 24/7, and online check-in is available, which saves a lot of time. We booked a studio, and the room was clean, with a microwave, fridge, stove, and dishes. There was unlimited hot water, and towels were provided with the key. The city center is a pleasant 25-minute walk away."
St Christopher's Edinburgh Old Town
"perfect location and good deal to have a stay. near the railway station and near the travel spots."
Garner Hotel Edinburgh - Haymarket
"very good and would recommend, it’s also near the walk of leith pathway where you can walk to the stockbridge from there. good location and a 20 min walk to the city."
Travelodge Edinburgh Haymarket
"The room was not properly clean when we arrived; there were hairs in the bathtub and dust on the surfaces. The room was not cleaned on any day during our stay. We arrived on a Wednesday and, even after informing them that we needed the trash to be emptied, they didn’t do it until Saturday, and they gave us towels with an unpleasant smell. I asked for toilet paper and the reception staff gave me no explanation; I had to buy it at the supermarket. It’s shameful — this is not an apartment or an aparthotel, and they don’t provide any cleaning tools either. The floor is extremely noisy. Breakfast is far too basic. There is no wardrobe in the room. The mattress on the large bed was very sunken in the middle. It’s a very basic hotel just for sleeping, but with absolutely no room cleaning, which becomes extremely uncomfortable if you stay for several days.I chose the room in advance and paid an extra fee, basing my decision only on the size, the floor and the location. The room was spacious, but it didn’t make up for the complete lack of cleanliness. The renovation of the rooms is very basic; it’s not a real refurbishment, just a superficial ‘makeover’: wallpaper on the walls (slightly peeling in some areas), doors painted white, and not much else.."
Destiny - Burnet Point
"Staff were all very helpful and pleasant. Room is immaculately clean. Make sure that you bring your towels though since it’s not provided."

Best Western Kings Manor Hotel
"It was a nice and cozy room provided with all possible amenities plus leisure center and gym"
The Caledonian Edinburgh, Curio Collection by Hilton
"The old money feel hits my face, and the Sheraton next door is also there, but it doesn't have the style of a Waldorf Astoria. Edinburgh is the only hotel where valet parking is a standard service, and the dessert before bed is also a ritual."
The Roseate Edinburgh
A quiet West End location: a 5-minute walk to Haymarket Station, and a 10-minute drive to Edinburgh Castle & Princes Street.
The Balmoral Hotel
A perfect Old Town location: a 3-minute walk to the Royal Mile, 5 minutes to Waverley Station, and 10 minutes to Edinburgh Castle.

"The hotel is a bit old, and the room is super far from the elevator."
The Bonham
"Stayed very well, relatively quiet... The hotel is small, but the facilities are very good!"
Village Hotel Edinburgh
"We had a great stay and been twice this year already they had swimming pool for kids and sauna steam room for parents too😄 free parking free breakfast and affordable prices we also had a great service from the morning staff during our breakfast. Highly recommend!!!"
Radisson Blu Hotel Edinburgh City Centre
"Excellent location, very convenient, and nice rooms. The only drawback was that the in-room Wi-Fi was practically unusable."
Delta Hotels by Marriott Edinburgh
"The breakfast was incredibly rich, with a wide variety of drinks, bread, sausages, bacon, cereals, and fruits – definitely filling. The location is a tiny bit out of the way, but we took the local train to the city center every day. It's a convenient 12-minute ride from Haymarket Station to Waverley Station. The room was spacious, though the facilities were a little dated. Overall, it was a good stay."
Norton House Hotel & Spa
Award-winning spa with indoor pool, hydrotherapy pool, sauna, steam room, fully equipped gym & treatment rooms. Perfect for rejuvenation, stress relief & wellness getaways.
Holiday Inn Express EDINBURGH - LEITH WATERFRONT by IHG
"The room was perfectly adequate, although there was no minibar. The bathroom, however, was a bit lacking. It could probably use new tile flooring as some parts felt loose (flexed), and there were some discolorations in the shower that somewhat detracted from the feeling of cleanliness. Otherwise, the bedroom was clean and tidy, and the staff was very friendly."
