This was, without a doubt, the worst hotel experience I have ever had.
Our problems started from the moment we entered our room. It was unacceptably small and cramped. This was not due to us pulling out the sofa bed, as we do this in every hotel we stay in and have never encountered a space this claustrophobic. The room was simply poorly designed and far too small for a family.
The breakfast buffet was another major disappointment. The selection was extremely poor and the quality was shockingly bad. The sausages and potatoes were incredibly dry and inedible. The biggest and most unacceptable issue, however, was the cleanliness of the dishes. The cups and plates were not properly washed and had visible grease and food residue on them. This is absolutely disgusting and a serious health hazard.
The most terrifying part of our stay occurred at night. From 2:00 AM until 4:00 AM, a violent altercation took place in the room next to ours. The noise level was extreme, with shouting and sounds of a physical fight. This was not just disruptive; it was genuinely frightening for our children. The complete lack of security personnel or any staff intervention made us feel utterly unsafe and abandoned.
There is no excuse for this combination of filthy conditions, terrible food, non-existent customer service, and a complete lack of security. This hotel is unprofessional and dangerous. We will never return.

My sincere thanks to Ms. Kirsty for her excellent customer service and courtesy. Her effort to accommodate us by moving our booking from a twin room to a triple room was particularly appreciated. I believe she embodies what it means to be a true manager in the hospitality industry.

It is a nice place for stay in Edinburgh. The location is convenient to go to the city center by tram. The breakfast is also good enough. Many families stay here.

not locate close to city centre but very close to the harbour, and have free parking just opposite the hotel, room a bit small for a family of 3, air-con is powerful enough for warm/hot day. breakfast is fair, suggested to be there by 8am. overall i like it a lot!

Room is spotless and Hotel in good location. Tram and bus station all are near. It's a 3 star hotel and value for money.
Only draw back is the breakfast . It's not up to the level. Hot buffet but dishes are cold 🤣.
Expect that all are great. Especially reception staff.

The room was clean the downside is that the room was cold and the heater air conditioner wasn't working properly it would have some warm air then go cold. When I told them on check out they told me that I should have asked for a heater when I checked in, as the unit is only an air conditioner not what it says on the instructions and should of been told this when I checked in. The breakfast wasn't great the bacon was cooked wrapped up so it was hard and the hash browns were dry so you could tell they were cooked in the oven the tomatoes were just warm, a good variety though with cooked, cereals, yogurts, fruits and pastries.
