My wife and I stayed 5 nights in the Fox Tail unit in October 2023. This was our first time in a tiny house and we loved it. Great space for a couple. Very modern, clean and well equipped. Easy walking distance into town, too. The management staff were very responsive by text. Pro tip: Stop at one of the gas stations to pickup fire wood for the fire pit in front of the deck. We used ours 3 times on chilly nights. Note to management: The pots and pans are really worn out and need to be replaced.

I lost a $50 non-refundable deposit at canyon country lodge in order to change my reservation to Escalante Escapes, it was the best $50 I ever lost. Tuesday afternoon 4pm arrival for 3 nights everything is prearranged via email to get you into your tiny house. Spotless inside and out, plenty of towels and toiletries and the bathroom heater warms the towels. Any questions you have and anything extra you need is just a text away. We stayed at Holly Hock and it’s identical to what you see on website, TA and YouTube, they advertise as tiny home but for the 2 of us there was more than enough space. It’s absolutely perfect inside and out and everything in the house works, even the outdoor grill was cleaned before our arrival. Get staples at Griffin Grocery, Escalante Mercantile (steaks and burgers in freezer section) and wine at Escalante Outfitters liquor closet and beer from gas station. We used tiny home as base to visit lower calf creek falls (epic hike), Kodachrome, and the Burr Trail. The washer/dryers are really handy since you are a mess after hiking this area. I would definitely pick the Holly Hock for the view and privacy, make sure you look at the stars at night. Having a full kitchen was best part, we eat dinner late and one of the things EE warns you there are limited number of restaurants in area, and they close early. We got takeout at Nemo’s one night and food was great. Also discovered from the Escalante Interagency Visitor Center (go there to get your maps) that we were traveling during end of monsoon season which we had no idea about, there are plenty of fast-moving storms so plan accordingly. We stayed in 6 different hotels on this trip this by far was the best, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property to anyone.

On an adventure to visit some parks! Our niece recommended this to us, and she was correct! Great halfway point to do some laundry in this tiny home! We chilled by the fire and had everything we needed. Sheila was prompt to respond to questions!

We were looking for something unique on our trip to Utah and found it in this Tiny Home. A group of Tiny Homes sit off of Scenic Highway 12 with great views of the nearby mountains. There was surprisingly plenty of room for our family of 5, a queen bed for the parents, a set of twin bunkbeds and a pull out couch in the living room. Well equiped with all we needed in the kitchen, including a convection oven/microwave, coffee pot and stove top. The back deck with adirondack chairs was nice to sit in the morning and enjoy my cup of coffee. A great location to explore Grand Staircase - Escalante National Monument or Bryce Canyon.

My 18 year old son and I have been exploring Utah. I discovered this gem of a luxurious tiny home and had to stay. It is perfectly equipped with everything you need and ideally located for exploring The Escalante National Monument and nearby Capitol Reef. The modern yet small home is extremely functional. Full shower, laundry, fill size cooktop, microwave, dishwasher, and full size refrigerator. It is also equipped with split-system heat pumps to provide both heating and air conditioning (which are extremely energy efficient). There are tow, one located in the full bedroom downstairs, and one in the living area. The loft is quite large with two twin beds. Flooded with natural light as well. The walls and ceiling are beautiful 6” plank natural wood. The floors are wide plank engineered hardwood. The full-size shower is marble tiled. Equipped with a full-size water heater guarantees you will have enough to wash off the sweat and dust gathered from all the dozens, if not more, different hikes one could enjoy. They have a book that outlines all hiking options in the area based on level of difficulty, length, and road access (paved versus dirt). The bathroom and kitchen counters are a beautiful granite. All the shelves are thick dark wood planks held by beautiful dark iron supports. White tall baseboards and door casings give a nice contrasts to all the natural wood. The iron stair railing continues to separate the loft from the area below providing a sense of continuous space and lighting. The host is extremely helpful. She responded to every message I sent within minutes. She was also extremely accommodating when we decided to stay longer because we were so happy here. This is must be added to your “bucket-list” if you plan on coming to Escalate. And if you aren’t, Escalante National Wilderness must be added to your “bucket-list” as well!

The Tiny House Escape was much more than I expected it to be. I spent eight nights there. Everything I needed for a comfortable stay was provided. The house was clean, and everything was in good working order. Colors and fabrics created a warm atmosphere. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Loved all the daylight that filled the spaces. I spent much time on the deck and enjoyed the quiet of the area. My friend stayed in the a House next to mine, and we conveniently shared meals together. The owner was incredible responsive and helped me with a logistics issue. I highly recommend the Tiny House Escapes and look forward to another visit

We love staying at Escalante Escapes. They are simple and adorable. They are always clean and stylishly furnished. Now that the kids are bigger, we need to make sure we book the mini house with the loft. There are so many great family hikes in Escalante.
