Liked parking. Disliked everything else. We booked Roosevelt but it looked closed. By accident we found it was now an annex of a hotel up the road. Whole thing was a shambles. We only stayed as we had been soaked by the weather

Do not book online. I booked via *********** at 5pm and at 6pm when I arrived the hotel was closed. I waited 1 hour before finding alternative accommodation. At 9pm the hotel phoned me after I messaged several times through the web site I booked with to ask if I still wanted to check in. I tried to get a refund but they have so far refused to do it. So not only did I pay for what looked like a nice hotel for the night I paid again to stay somewhere else. AVOID this place

We booked the hotel via *********** on the basis of many reviews in guide books. When we arrived at 5pm the hotel was shut. There was no notice on the front door to explain what the situation was. Turned out that the hotel was closed and the owner told us that we should go to the Hotel Sr Hilaire instead. Our reservation at the Hotel St Hilaire was acknowledged but we had not booked that hotel, we wanted to stay at the Roosevelt. Be warned if you book the Roosevelt, you might not be staying there….

I can't rate the hotel we booked because we stayed at the Hotel Le Val Saint Hilaire.
The hotel we booked was locked and there was no indication that we had to check in at the Hotel Le Val Saint Hilaire!
The two hotels now belong together! We were then given a room in the hotel we checked into! The hotel advertises itself as having 3 stars, but it is very far from that!!!
We were given a room with two single beds at different heights! The two windowsills outside were piled high with swallow droppings! The style was from the sixties! We must have booked too cheaply!

A bad experience, arriving in front of a closed hotel, vague note on the door telling you to report somewhere else. The hotel has been closed for some time in terms of facilities, you could only sleep there, no staff present. Very noisy. The feeling of a youth hostel.
