This riad was fabulous in so many ways! The setting is amazing— an oasis of tranquility in Fes on the edge of the Medina. Rooms are spacious and very comfortable, with individual temperature controls that are easy to use. Decor is traditional Moroccan style, with Berber carpets on beautiful tile floors and colorful mosaics decorating walls everywhere. The central atrium is airy, light, with a central fountain and plants and flowers. The food is so tasty! Be sure to have a tajine or chicken pastilla. And Moroccan tea, of course! Best of all are the employees. Marcos guarantees you have whatever you need or want. He is funny and so welcoming. At one dinner with a live musician he sang along, danced, and another time performed a great rap for us! Another standout is Fattah, whose kind gentle demeanor makes you feel at home. If you are looking for a great place to stay in Fes, stay at Riad el Yacout!

We stayed here while on a tour of Morocco. The manager Abdullah could not have been more helpful and friendly. Anything we needed he was able to assist with. Our room was my favorite room of all of the rooms we stayed in while in Morocco. It was beautifully restored and looked down on the main courtyard. The staff was AMAZING! Marco was very accommodating and got us anything we needed. I had heard that staying at a Riad was a unique experience, but this truly blew me away. I am very thankful I was able to,experience this.

The rooms are gorgeous, each one different from the others. Decor is authentic to Fes. Breakfast was delicious, service was excellent, and staff was friendly and almost everyone spoke English. Marcos is remarkable and a true asset to this establishment. This riad is conveniently located to restaurants, plazas, and the shuk. Also, experience the hamam for a body scrub and massage!!!!

The Riad is absolutely beautiful. Sumptuous rooms with all modern amenities , lovely breakfast. Lovely pool. Marcos has taken very good care of me and the group I am traveling with. Great location. Highly recommended with no reservation.

Spent 4 nights in Fez at the Yacout and it did not disappoint, its beauty and historic charm alone won me. Its staff and management go above and beyond the Moroccan way to please and serve their guests. The manager Abdullah was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and outgoing in all things from booking a local guide to simple asks and questions. The wait staff and front desk are always warm and receptive, especially Marco (our rapping waiter) and Hisham. I have to say honestly everyone we encountered at this hotel was amazing.

This place was incredible! The Riad’s owner Abdul, exceeded our expectations. Everyone was friendly, eager to accommodate and helpful. Especially Najwa and Marco! The attention to detail in decor and culture at dinner with the show was amazing! I can’t wait to come back and make more memories !

Abdul (the owner’s son) and the staff were AMAZING. This was my first stay in Fes and it certainly won’t be my last. I look forward to coming here again. The entire Riad is beautiful and the staff is welcoming and accommodating. You should definitely stay here when traveling.

Wonderful venue. Staff are experienced, friendly and very helpful. Riad gives you an experience of going back in time…but with current amenities. Don’t forget to try the scrub at the Hamam followed by a soothing massage. Particularly helpful were to staff members, Marcus nd Mahdi.

Riad Yacout is totally unexpected. Coming in from the street and then a narrow alleyway, I never imagined what a glorious and exquisite this riad is. What made this extra are the friendly staff especially Marcus, Mehdi, Isham. Totally worth our stay.
