Receptionist was very nice.
The room had a fantastic view.
Bad is not comfortable and the pillow is worse.

The location is excellent, you can get to anywhere by bus. Maximum travel time is about 1 hour. The hotel is quite old, but we got a room after renovation. The breakfast was standard European without any frills, but we didn’t leave hungry. We went to the Paparazzi “restaurant” for dinner several times, it’s on the island next to the hotel. The view is not very presentable, but the prices are reasonable, the food is delicious, the portions are large, you can safely take one for two.

You can directly see the sea, very convenient, there are many restaurants around, the facilities are a bit old, a bit noisy at night. Overall it is very good

We booked the Preluna in Sliema as this is our favourite on Sliema in November 23 but weeks before departure we were told this was double booked and we were given a few hotel choices. The Kennedy was closest to the area we like but this turned out to be a terrible choice. On arrival we noted no tea or coffee making facilities in the room. Assuming this was an error I went to reception and was astonished to be asked for 5 Euros for a kettle or 12 if we wanted tea coffee milk and sugar included. In even the cheapest B and B I have stayed in I have never had to pay for this basic facility. The food was cold and there was very little choice. It was served to us from behind a screen. I assume this was for portion control reasons. The room was pretty small and dingy but thankfully we had a sea view balcony with a stunning view over the bay. The ckeaning staff worked hard but we didnt find the reception staff very helpful when we realised the roof top pool was closed. "Its not the summer season yet" or " I dont know when it opens" were typical answers. To our dismay it remained closed the entire week we were there so there was nowhere to relax or catch some rays. We spoke to our rep who challenged the reception but sadly it did no good. He also tried to get us moved to a different hotel but sadly the Kennedy insisted on a full week payment which would have meant us paying for five days we didnt stay there. This is truly the worst hotel we have ever stayed in abroad and I would not recommend it to anyone other than the schoolkids who flooded the place making it feel more like a hostel than a so called 4 star hotel.
