Great B&B hotel. Very modern and clean. Rooms very elegant, bed comfortable. Service amazing. Made to order breakfast available. Great location. Definitely recommend it. Staff went beyond my expectations, even order a taxi for me day before my departure. She kept in contact with me via text to make sure I got my taxi and was on my way.

This room was spacious, very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The location of this B&B is perfect, a short walk to all the main sites. The breakfast at the sister hotel was perfect with plenty to choose from and a short walk from the B&B. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. This accommodation was perfect for our short break. It is worth noting that of a night it can be quite noisy as you’re situated above a busy street, which of course cannot be helped. Depends if you want a to sacrifice noise level for a good location. It is also worth noting that they do not turn on the A/C until April which is understandable. We were fortunate with the weather so it was quite warm in the room, but didn’t affect our stay too much.

Not close to the check in hotel. Had to lug 5 suitcases about 6 blocks down cobblestones streets through crowds of people. Room was very plain. Fridge did not really work. The bathroom had a step up and the shower step up was about 2 steps up. The shower was very skinny. I'm 5 foot and 115 lbs and had a hard time taking a shower in it, the shower head was on the middle of the shower. No shelf for your shower items, I had to put them on the shower floor. Housekeeping never restocked toilet paper, we ended buying some when we were out. They did keep our luggage for us at the check in hotel when we checked out and our train wasn't for a few hours. The location was really good,but if your looking for quiet this hotel is not for you. There is a small coffee area with cookies everyday. We walked everywhere, except to and from the train station, we took an Uber. Recommend going to the Accademia museum, wine window at Babae, Osteria Santo Spirito (make reservations!), the Ponte Vecchio bridge, Piazza de Michelangelo at sunset, City market, sit by the canal at Signorvino.

We were really pleased with B&B Republica. We highly recommend a balcony room. The building is stunning, old style with a vintage lift and beautiful features. The room was large and well equipped. We had a fridge, large bathroom, excellent air conditioning. The balcony was great to have, to relax and read and have a drink in the evenings. The location is phenomenal, we were minutes from every attraction in Florence. Genuinely loved our stay.

The location is great. However, there was something wrong with ours. On the first day, we didn't have any toiletries. I went shopping first. On the second day, we didn't get any toilet paper, and the floor wasn't cleaned. We told them right from the start that the toilet seat was broken, but unfortunately, nothing was done. It was a bit uncomfortable. Otherwise, it was OK.

A functional hotel for an overnight stay. The hotel is in a good location for exploring the city. However, room service still needs to improve on its standard. Unfortunately, we had to call reception almost every day to order missing items like shower gel.

It's about four blocks from the hotel where breakfast is served. It's clean, but has a few details that make it difficult to choose again: the safe has a key, the bathroom is rather uncomfortable, and the building needs some maintenance. It was my first B&B experience, and I definitely prefer a hotel where you feel safer.

Il punto di forza di questa struttura è sicuramente la posizione. Si trova a Piazza della Repubblica, a due passi dal Duomo, dagli Uffizi, dal Ponte Vecchio. La sua posizione ci ha permesso anche durante il giorno di tornare in stanza e scendere nuovamente. La stanza è bellissima, grande, arredi curati. Noi avevamo la camera familiare composta da una stanza con letto a baldacchino e un’altra con divano letto per i bambini. Bagno piccolo ma essenziale. Doccia enorme. Forse solo l’assenza del bidet, ma si può sorvolare. Avevamo la colazione inclusa che si fa all’hotel della Signoria, lo stesso dove si fa il check in. E all’ultimo piano con vista sui tetti di Firenze. Spettacolo! È gustosa, abbondante, ricca sia nel dolce che nel salato. Voto 10! Menzione particolare per Andrea alla reception che ci ha accolto e dato tantissimi suggerimenti, e per la signora Laura alla sala colazione, di una gentilezza unica e un sorriso sempre pronto. Grazie veramente per tutto. Spero che ci rivediamo presto.
