First of all, please be clear that this is not a hotel. There is no receptionist at the front desk. The location is 10 minutes away from the train station, so the location is good! But the price/performance ratio is not high. You should be able to find a better hotel for the price of this room! There is no need to check in again. You need to contact the receptionist in advance to check in. It is very inconvenient for travelers who do not have telephone service!

Very rubbish hotel. First of all, the address is different from what was given. I couldn't find it after searching for a long time. Who knew that check-in should be done across the street, and there was not even an obvious sign. Second, there was a set check-in time. When I arrived late, there was no one at the hotel. When I called, they said that we were off work and could not check in today. There was no special email in advance to inform me of this. When I booked, there was only one line of small words in the email. If you don't look carefully, you can't find it. The hotel didn't remind me at all. Third, check-in was done at another hotel, which was not in the same building as the actual check-in place, which was very inconvenient. In short, it was a landmine!!!

We had a very good stay at Daphne Guest House! The location was excellent—close to major sights, restaurants, and public transport, yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful. The room was clean, comfortable, and had a charming, cozy feel. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, making us feel right at home. Overall, a great experience and we would definitely recommend Daphne Guest House to anyone visiting Florence!

You check in for this property at a nearby sister location. They walked us over to show us the unit and how to access it. It was very high tech and modern. The bathroom was wonderful including the shower. There was some street noise through the window but no sound transfer from other units. The location was close to the train station and historic sites.

One night was enough
Good location, near train station and close to local sights however it was noisy because of the busy area. Room was ok but wouldn’t want to spend more than one night there. There was a clump of hair on shower wall, the kettle was missing a lid and the desk was literally a piece of countertop balanced on top of a fridge (not ideal considering the kettle of boiling water is stored there). The service from staff at Hotel Berna where we checked in was very good.

The room was okay, nothing special. We had a triple but it does not fit three people well. Plus the third bed was so flimsy, we ended up just putting the mattress on the floor. The area is very busy and noisy. I wouldn’t stay here again.
