Awesome place to stay around Fuji. This hotel is right on the lake Tanuki look on to Mount Fuji, stunning view. There is a path around lake Tanuki and also rental bicycles. There is a camp ground also. The hotel was booked but we were able to get a cottage. 5 minutes walk from hotel. Very nice. Were were able to eat at the hotel as well as use the onsen. Onsen was surprisingly small and uninteresting. Buffet dinner and breakfast were good. Nice place to stay and enjoy natural beauty.

懐石コースが赤富士（鱒）だらけで残念。季節的になのか期待はずれでした。富士山の眺めは抜群でしたが。温泉は良かったです。懐石コースのデザートも改良の余地あり。お茶3種類は必要ない。デザートだけブッフェスタイルにすればよいのに。

冷蔵庫、電子レンジ、ホットプレート等が備付けなので、道の駅やサービスエリアで購入した新鮮野菜や酪農品、静岡おでんや富士宮焼きそばを持ち込んで自炊しました。「ちょっと無駄吠えする犬」を連れていましたが、周囲に気兼ねすることなくリラックスして過ごすことができました。本館までは5分ほど歩かなければなりませんが、大浴場の湯船につかりながら富士山が見えたので幸せな気分になりました。

本館とコテージの２種類あります。 本館に宿泊したことはありませんのでコテージの評価になります。 一部は、ペット（犬）可となっていて春・夏休みは6ヶ月前の受付開始日に電話しないと予約困難です。（ネットでの予約は、電話受付開始日の翌日になるので満室） 休前日も直ぐに埋まってしまいます。 食事や大浴場は、本館になります。（徒歩5分） コテージですので食材を持ち込んでの自炊も出来ます。 事前予約で食材も届けてもらえます。 食事は、朝夕ともバイキングです。（余り期待しない方が良いかも？） 本館２階から田貫湖の方に出るとベンチがあり天気が良いとベンチ後ろのガラスに富士山が映っています。 夏だとダイヤモンド富士も期待出来ます。 本館はWI-FI飛んでますが、コテージはありません。（設置のリクエストはしてます） 電波の入りが非常に悪いので注意して下さい。

レストランのすぐ横のお部屋。うるさいに決まってる。チェックイン時にお部屋の変更をお願いしたけど、努力する気全くなし。大人の夫婦なのにね。配慮なしのアサインに希望なし。残念です。

お部屋自体は古さを感じますが、障子を開けると正面に富士山！ 朝は日の出前から雲がかかり、雲から顔を出す刻々とかわる富士山を布団のなかから眺めてました。 大浴場からも眺めることができます。 食事はビュッフェですが、すこーし変わり種なメニューもあり、なかなか楽しかったです。 そうそう、お布団敷いてもらったら、枕元に折り紙で富士山がちょこんと！おいてありました。粋な演出ですよね。
