Fukuoka Guesthouse Ship

The Hostel was for the most part clean and the staff was welcoming and polite. The Hostel featured a small but cozy communal area with seating, kitchen and small cafe. The downside was that no amenities where included in the price. You had to pay extra for towels and toothbrush and no slippers were included. The location is a bit off but absolutely alright. The city center was within walking distance and so was the port.

Beautiful hostel in a quiet corner of Fukuoka. Local buses connect it well to the rest of the city but be prepared to walk for a while! Staff were super friendly and helpful and other guests were respectful and interesting to chat to - communal guest space is really lovely. Bathrooms and shower rooms were clean, as was bed area. A little creaky but so much atmosphere and beauty in this hostel!

Juri was so helpful throughout my stay. The female dorm is on the second floor, next to the private room. Quiet hours are respected by others who are staying at the hostel and the free washer and dryer was a lifesaver for a stay that is longer than 3 days. They provide earplugs, which I think is convenient if you share a bunk with someone who snores or if there is movement around the hostel in the middle of the night. The location is a bit of a walk from the closest train station but there are also nearby bus stops and a convenience stores along the way. I definitely recommend this place and most likely will stay here or try their other locations if I pass the area again. :)

The staff was super friendly and helpful! the location was great - close by to a lot of restaurants, shops and bus station! I liked it there a lot so I think I will be back! :)
