The heated swimming pool on the top floor of the hotel is a highlight. Going to the top floor to see the night view at night is very beautiful. The location of the hotel is great.

Magnificent hotel with an incredible rooftop, as well as the staff who reflect this hotel: charming. You will not find better ovality in Funchal. Go for it! You are not mistaken.

Great location and breakfast buffet. The staff was really wonderful and the rooftop pool area was a nice bonus with excellent views of Funchal.

Wonderful and lovely place in the center of Funchal. The hotel entrance is a bit hidden, but you can enter from the restaurant.

Good but room for easy improvements
Nice Hotel, lovely rooms , friendly reception staff and breakfast staff good breakfast , great location . Lovely Rooftop pool but was let down by a young man running it that clearly needs training on the service and approach you expect of a 5 star hotel . As an example I ordered a drink and his first response was how are you paying for that , Lovely! . Just made us feel like an inconvenience in general the couple of days we visited and didn’t treat anybody any differently. I would also suggest they try a put a bit of vibrancy the hotel , no background music by the pool and the bar was literally empty every night. Both these experiences would put us off staying again
