Friendly & helpful staff. Clean bedroom & bathroom. Happy with the size of the room. Complimentary a plate of fruits & small “chinese jelly” dessert drinks. 5 stars alright.

Good breakfast spread of Chinese and English food. A few live-stations where food is freshly prepared for guests. The hotel staff were attentive, especially Andy from reception. Nice view of Wuyi Square at night, including a photo of the white tower at night.

It is located at the centre of Fuzhou city and it has a good view to 五一广场, you can view from the hotel and enjoy the daily raising flag ceremony at your room.

I came for the Fuzhou marathon, this is a nice hotel n there’s a shopping mall next to it with plenty of food choices

It was great experience staying in this hotel. The location was fantastic as it is right next to the subway station. The staff were so friendly, particularly Yang Qing, so bubbly and helpful. The hotel view was amazing too. We can see wuyi square and white tower. Will come back definitely.

Great stay

Still one of the best hotels in Fuzhou, although it can be difficult for foreigners due to the lack of English translation and no international news channels on the TV menu.

Staffs are polite and helpful. Great location. Near subway station and shopping malls.

this hotel look old, for the room card, on lift and door need insert it, not scan very old style , we are very disappoint about the Gym facilities, special about Sauna and Spa and steam, the spa bath is super hot ( 42 dgree), we couldn't get into the bath, and we had ask the manager, but i been told this is from the headquarter, this is normal , and i m upset is this service is for the guests, soo-hot we couldn't get in, just for show? second, the floor is very slope, i been fall over, and nobody look after me, only i been told go to hopsital, very sad, we didn't got china hospital card, it's very difficulty to see doctors, and we will wait for long time to get treat, we wil back New Zealand soon :( and i m confusing is " so big hotel, not a medical service? or even helper? thanks

Nice hotel, clean with good service n also food . Will definitely use this hotel on our next trip to Fuzhou again

The hotel is old but it has been maintained, the gym is good, and the breakfast is good ,the staff are very nice and professional, I will stay here again when I visit Fuzhou again

The Shang is always good. The location is quite central. Service staff particularly the housekeeping staff are outstanding… this is a place always worth staying if your budget allows. I’ll be back again.
