Our time at the Glengariff Park Hotel was a wonderful experience!!! Hotel was super nice and clean and the restaurant was DELICIOUS. The staff was so incredibly friendly, we HIGHLY RECOMMEND staying here!!!

We recently stayed for two nights as part of a wedding party at the Glengarriff Park Hotel and had a wonderful stay and evening reception meal. The staff went out of their way to be welcoming and made a particular effort to make sure the occasion was special. All the staff were lovely and I didn’t get all their names but Sheila and Anne-Marie, John and Bridgid worked very hard that particular evening to keep everyone happy. Our room was spacious, clean and beds very comfortable. Glengarriff is a sweet little town and Garnish Island well worth a visit. I wish we had had more time to explore the surrounding areas….. we will return!

We hadn’t booked ahead so walked in & asked for a room & we were warmly welcomed. The room overlooked the Main Street but it wasn’t noisy. The bed was the Most comfortable I’ve been in for ages, best nights sleep in a hotel in a long time. Friendly staff, though maybe fresh fruit as opposed to mostly canned at breakfast would have been better but my husband enjoyed his scrambled eggs & smoked salmon ver much.

I stayed in Glengarriff Park Hotel in June 2022 with a friend, Chris. The staff couldn't have been more welcoming, helpful and efficient. The hotel is a lovely building, but it's the staff who are the star of the show. Thanks again everyone. The hotel is a wonderful base from which to see the whole West Cork and South Kerry area. We went as far afield as Derrynane, Mizen Lighthouse, Kenmare, Bantry etc. And we also visited the enchanting Garinish Island right on the hotel's doorstep.

Went in for a late lunch. We were shown to a table but greeted with nothing short of open hostility. Food was grand, a small side salad alongside it would have made it look far more appealing, the presentation was disappointing. We asked for the dessert menu and were told to hurry up because the kitchen was closed(they had taken other people and served them when we were almost finished our lunch so timing wasn’t clear at all) I honestly think Glengariff is a place lacking in hospitality. Staff in food establishments are so unfriendly, unwelcoming and just plain rude.

What an experience. John and his staff made us feel at home the moment we walked in the door. We couldn't of asked for more. The food was fantastic and the rooms spotless. What was most impressive was the staff and warm reception we received. 5 stars.

I stayed here in July with a group of friends on a golfing trip. We played Bantry Bay and Kenmare, both were excellent. But the highlight of the stay was the Hotel itself. Staff were kind and courteous. The manager (John) could not do enough for us. He had already organised the golf for us and was constantly checking in with us to make sure everything was ok. We had dinner on 2 nights and it was lovely. Breakfast was from 7.30 to 11, continental and full irish was available. Rooms were large and modern with an amazing shower. There was music Friday and Saturday in the bar till late. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. Glengarriff village is breathtaking and I can't wait to return.

Just back from glengarrif park hotel what a fantastic weekend a big tanks to John and all his staff we were looked after like Kings 👏👏👏👏👏🍾🍾🕺🏾🕺🏾roll on next year food bar and very clean hotel would highly recommend 100% 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 all we need next year is the Sun 💥💥💥

Having read some previous reviews, we were a little concerned about what to expect. We needn’t have worried! This is a great, little 3 star hotel. The staff are universally friendly. The bedroom was a good size, clean and comfortable. We had supper in the restaurant and while not fine dining (we weren’t expecting that), they delivered a couple of tasty starters and then two dishes of delicious local mussels. Breakfast in the morning was excellent smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. It’s centrally placed, plenty of parking and ideally located for exploring the surrounding area including the wonderful Garinish Island.
