Garden Terrace Otel is a small hotel in the small town of Gölhisar, which is signed from the main streets in Gölhisar. There are a only couple of parking places but plenty of street parking nearby. The reception was welcoming and efficient. Ready to use a translation App when the limit of our Turkish language skills was reached. There were limited online agencies with this hotel on their books, but it is well worth searching out. The room was of adequate size with storage space and electrical points near the bed. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean, including the ensuite shower room. Toiletries and soft towels were provided. The air conditioning unit soon heated the room even on a cold February night. There was a kettle and coffee provided, but only paper cups which seems the norm in many Turkish hotels since the pandemic. The room was quiet, with only a morning call from a cockerel to disturb us. The breakfast buffet included the usual Turkish breakfast staples of cold meats, cheese, salad, preserves, honey etc. There was also freshly cooked egg and potato and warm pastries. The breakfast room has a view over the town and mountains, which are snow-capped at this time of year. There are seating areas in the garden and outside on an upper floor terrace. The ground floor bar was closed during our stay, but occupancy was very low. Garden Terrace Otel was good value for service, comfort and breakfast.
