Canonnier Beachcomber Golf Resort & Spa

We stayed for a couple of nights with our family for our wedding. The hotel was lovely but even better were the staff, In particular our wedding planner Aurelie Lajoie, she was fantastic. Her attention to detail, great attitude and wonderful smile made our wedding experience and stay perfect. She is clearly passionate about doing a great job and making the experience unforgettable. Nothing was too much trouble and if I owned a hotel I would employ her in a heartbeat. Thankyou so much Aurelie, me and Isabel are so grateful that we found you.

We had one of the best weekends for a long time. The hotel’s decor seamlessly blends modern elegance with coastal charm, creating an inviting ambiance that instantly puts you at ease. One of the highlights of our stay was the impeccable service provided by the staff. From the reception team to the restaurant servers, everyone went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction throughout our stay.

Excellent Staff and hotel - with beautifull views and beaches. They also offer alot of included activities daily, as well as delicious food both in the buffet and the a la carte restaurants. New years eve was also topped of with a great display of firework from the beach. All the staff was very warm and welcoming, and goes above and beyond for the guests! Mike makes a mean omelet - and Tazeem some excellent towel sculptures! Also a special thanks to Esha, Jayshree and Goshini for making our stay perfect.

What an amazing experience it was,we had the most amazing time at canonnier Beachcomber. We went their with a group of friends, the service was first class. Being a mauritian, i never thought we would had such a great welcome and service. We were welcome by prithvi who was very proffessional and explained us everything so perfectly. Surely lookong forward to come back.

We have just returned home from our sixth visit to the wonderful Le Canonnier resort. Upon arriving we were greeted with the words "Welcome Home". This couldn't be more true. It doesn't matter how long the journey is, upon arrival one has the feeling that one really has come "Home". We first visited in 2015 and fell in love with the hotel. Last year on our fifth visit we were presented with our own "Dodo" plaque which along with many others is part of a colourful sculpture in the gardens of the hotel. This year we stayed in a lovely sea view room and it was wonderful to wake up with such a beautiful view every morning. Thanks to Heero who looked after our room this year. Our daughter loves the kids club run by Preety, Melissa, Sara, Korine, Anabelle, Kuhshi, Rina and the crew. The kids Club is great with organized Glass bottom boat trips and lots of cool activities. When we checked out at the end of our stay, the whole club was decked out in fun Halloween decorations. The hotel complex is full of shady palm trees . There's a large heated pool and also next to it a shallow pool also surrounded by palms. Suraj gives out the beach towels from his "beach hut"and is always very chatty with tips about the local beaches. There are 3 beaches around the peninsular that the hotel is built on, with wonderful snorkling spots. The spacious Frangipanier restaurant has a different theme every night. The staff especially Adil and Amrita looked after us and made us feel very welcome every evening. In reception the staff ( Esha, Goshisnee, Mehendi, Annaelle) were always very helpful. One of the highlights of our visit was a Catamaran trip from the hotel boat house to the nearby Flat island. Definately recommended. Big thanks to, to Marketing manager Roshen Rutnah and of course General Manger Lothar Gross. We are already missing Le Canonnier and are looking forward to our next visit.

Went for a weekend to spend quality family time and the resort lived up to all its expectations. As my second visit to Canonnier, i was not disappointed. The rooms were clean and the buffet had a lot of variety while also being delicious. The light show organised by the hotel was spectacular. Special mention to Mr Aadil for his efficient service. Would highly recommend and also will come back again :)

Review: Amazing and welcoming resort. Me and my family had a great time and we met after many years as we don't stay in the same country. But Canonnier Beachcomber was the cherry on the cake for us. It was our first time here and we loved it. The food, service and the drinks everything just wonderful. And on top the staffs, really thumbs up to them for making us feel special. I would also like to thank prithvi from guest service for his warm welcome when we arrived. Certainly we are coming back.

Here I’am back again to this beautiful hotel. Such a wonderful feeling when you are here. It seem like a second home to now and what's surprising also, the staffs recognized me and that I think made my stay great again. Me and my wife , we came for a little romantic holiday and we had a blast, the food amazing but the people here made the difference. Specially prithvi and aurelie from guest relation.

We cannot recommend Cannonier enough to families who are looking for an amazing resort in Mauritius. We had such a wonderful time there. Our children (aged 5 and 8) thoroughly enjoyed Kids’ Club which gave us an opportunity to snorkel in the bay and see the wonderful underwater world. The restaurants were fantastic and the staff went out of their way to make sure that all was on point. The rooms are well appointed and spacious. There was musical entertainment every night and the kids loved dancing along at the amphitheatre. The hotel is also relatively close to the centre of town which makes it a quick trip to the markets to buy souvenirs and clothing. Tips for future travellers: Book for water activities and the a la carte restaurants on arrival as they get booked up quickly
