Choosing Lanyu Hotel for our Emei Mountain trip was absolutely the smartest decision. It’s exactly the healing, Japanese-style hotel I was looking for, distinctly different from a typical guesthouse. Our stay of several days was incredibly relaxing, and we received meticulous care. The hotel arranged a business car for all our transfers within the scenic area and even helped us organize a guide. When it rained, they provided umbrellas and even prepared ginger tea. While other hotels might simply fulfill requests, the team at Lanyu takes service to the extreme – there’s nothing they haven't thought of or can't do. Everything was excellent. Many thanks to Manager Ma, Butler Xiao Yang, and Xiao Deng. Location: Superb location, halfway up Emei Mountain, very close to Qingyin Pavilion – a true oxygen bar. Facilities: Smart toilet, hairdryer, very comfortable bathrobes. Service: Authentic breakfast, high-quality dinner, free minibar drinks, high-quality afternoon tea, and free-flow coffee – truly amazing! 👍

Emei Utopia Hentique Resort is a wonderful place to stay if you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway surrounded by nature. The resort is beautifully set amidst lush greenery, creating a tranquil atmosphere that makes it easy to unwind and escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. The room we stayed in came with a private hot spring, which was definitely one of the highlights of our stay. The room amenities were excellent, and the hotel also offers great facilities that make the overall experience very comfortable and enjoyable. The breakfast selection was another highlight, with an excellent variety of choices to suit different tastes. We also appreciated the complimentary airport transfer service, which was a very thoughtful and convenient touch. The only downside is that the resort is located some distance away from Emei city, so getting around can be slightly less convenient if you plan to explore the city frequently. However, if your priority is relaxation, nature and a peaceful resort experience, the location is well worth the trade-off. Lastly we would like to extend our appreciation and compliments to 小包， who was excellent in her service and recommendation during our stay to make it a memorable trip for us.

A very special inn in a historic building. In the old town, it is an easy walk to the snack places. A feeling of peace and quiet in a bustling city. Because it is an ancient building, it can be a bit humid during the rainy season in summer. The housekeeper is very good and the environment is very good.

The hotel surroundings are stunning, with a distant view of Mount Emei. It boasts a large private garden with a surrounding stream, all very well-maintained. There is a 30-meter swimming pool, along with both indoor and outdoor hot spring pools. After hiking Mount Emei, soaking in the 39-degree outdoor hot spring completely melted away all the muscle soreness. The room is fully equipped, the bedding is comfortable, and sitting outdoors at the breakfast restaurant offers views of the misty Mount Emei. Everything is breathtaking, and the service from this seasoned 5-star hotel is standard and attentive. Excellent value for money.

The contrast with the one in Chengdu is too obvious 🥹 By the way, the beef in Leshan is so delicious

Choosing the right hotel in Mount Emei really makes a difference after a long hike – it's so therapeutic! ♨️ Every time I visit Mount Emei, the accommodation truly impacts the overall happiness of my trip. ✨ This time, I stayed at the Orange Tree Hot Spring Hotel, and the location was perfect. It's within walking distance of the Maluqiao Food Street, making it super easy to grab local delicacies like Qiaojiao beef and sweet-skinned duck without having to travel far for food. After a tiring hike with sore muscles, what I looked forward to most was returning to the hotel for a hot spring soak. 🛁 They have both indoor and outdoor pools, plus a sauna. If you prefer more privacy, you can choose a room with a private hot spring – just soak quietly for a while, and your fatigue will slowly melt away. 🤲🏻 The room was spacious and clean, and the bedding was soft, ensuring a good night's sleep so you have the energy to continue exploring the next day. The amenities are also comprehensive, with a heated swimming pool, a children's play area, and a gym, making it suitable for friends traveling together or families. 🧚♀️ The breakfast offers a rich variety, including freshly cooked rice noodles, hot dishes, and fruits. Eating a hearty meal before heading up the mountain leaves you feeling completely re-energized! 👍🏻 Little tips💡: The private hot spring rooms are quite popular, so remember to book early during holidays. If you're driving, there's free parking, and it's convenient for getting to the high-speed rail station and Baoguo Temple. If you want to avoid a lot of hassle during your trip to Mount Emei, this hotel is definitely a great choice! ✅

Service was exceptional upon reaching the hotel. Although I wasn't able to make a booking in advance for the free pick-up transfer from the railway station, the receptionist lady was able to kindly provide an immediate service recovery. She was detailed and patient in explaining the hotel provisions as well. I also had a complimentary upgrade to a room that was more spacious. The room was clean and well-equipped with the necessary amenities, and they provide complimentary one-time covers for hygiene purposes. Location was great, less than a 5-minute walk to Baoguo Temple. Overall a good stay at this hotel!

Traveling to Mount Emei, I chose this five-star hotel, the closest to Baoguo Temple! The high-speed rail station shuttle service is excellent! The hotel environment is quite good, very close to Huangwan Station, within walking distance. The front desk upgraded us to a family room, and the front desk and shuttle staff were all very enthusiastic. The environment and service were impeccable, but the facilities and hygiene were truly disappointing. I won't go into detail about the hygiene – cobwebs, stains on towels... The main issue was the facilities. The decor and materials looked quite ordinary, with gaps around the doors. At night, there was a random on-and-off switch sound coming from somewhere, not a fixed interval. The soundproofing was also terrible; you could hear the neighbors flushing the toilet, brushing their teeth, and showering at night. Luckily, it was a family next door; it would have been so awkward if it were a couple! This is a hotel I would not choose to stay at again if I return to Mount Emei!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay! The facilities were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and everything I needed was easily accessible. The service was excellent—friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout my stay. A special thank you to Wu Yujia for ensuring we received optimum service. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would happily stay here again!

The room has a small balcony, handy for luggage storage, and laundry facilities are available. It was spotless, with well-kept plants adding to the ambiance. We enjoyed how quiet it was, both day and night, despite being surrounded by plenty of dining options. As an added bonus, you can head up to the third floor for lovely river views. Overall, a very comfortable experience.
