It was my partner’s birthday when we arrived at the hotel, and we decided to request an early check-in. We approached Customer Service, where Wan kindly attended to us. He explained that the room was still being cleaned, so we decided to take a walk around the nearby mall while waiting. The location was very convenient, and we noticed that there were several spas in the surrounding area, so we decided to book a couple’s room for a relaxing spa experience. When we returned to the hotel, our room was ready. We were delighted with the beautiful view from the 18th floor, overlooking the surrounding houses and buildings. My partner was especially happy with the thoughtful little birthday decorations in the room. We also had a lovely dinner that evening. We especially enjoyed the begedil and kept going back for more! The prawns were delicious as well, and I found myself getting seconds. To make the evening even more special, we were able to enjoy the beautiful sunset while seated in the dining area. The following day, the hotel surprised us with a slice of cake, which was a lovely touch. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and truly appreciated the thoughtful service and little details that made my partner’s birthday extra special. I also had the Ayam Taliwang set for lunch one afternoon while my partner was out playing golf. The food was fantastic and I thoroughly enjoyed the meal. The lady who recommended the dish to me was very friendly and attentive throughout my lunch. I’m sorry I didn’t manage to get her name, but I truly appreciated how she took such good care of me and made me feel comfortable, warm, and relaxed during my meal. Overall, we had a wonderful experience throughout our stay. We will definitely be coming back again, especially whenever we are planning another spa getaway or when my partner has another golf trip.

Overall a great stay with fantastic views and amazing service! The room size was perfectly fine, and the single bed was plenty spacious for one person. The highlight was definitely the view—you can see the ferry terminal right from the window—and the clever mirror design in the room was a wonderful touch that really elevated the space. The staff were exceptionally warm and attentive, proactively helping with my luggage and opening car doors every time. However The pillow quality was average—it was quite high and firm rather than soft and plush, and leaning against it for a while made my back feel sweaty. The biggest bug for me, though, was the elevator system; there are no clear indicator lights or sound chimes when the elevator arrives, so I ended up missing it quite a few times. Despite these quirks, the view and service made it a very enjoyable stay. I’d also prefer bottled drinking water over the large filtered water dispenser provided, as washing glasses each time was a bit of a hassle.

The hotel is very clean. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The swimming pool is small and dirty when we were there. Kids walking around at the breakfast area and jumping in and out from the pool to breakfast area. No proper towels provided for the pool. My room is clean but face a block of construction wall which looks really eerie at night. I think they are in the midst of extension their hotel. Blackout twice but power came back fast. Despite the small imperfect, it is still a very comfortable hotel which I will go back to in Batam.

Unlike hotels located in crowded tourist areas, this property offers a calmer atmosphere that feels more suitable for families or travelers who simply want to rest and unwind. The surroundings are quiet, and the overall ambiance is comfortable after a long day of sightseeing. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Housekeeping did a good job keeping the room tidy, and the facilities provided were sufficient for a family stay. The bed was comfortable, and the apartment-style setup gave a more homely feeling compared to a standard hotel room. One thing to take note of is the location. The residence is located quite far from Batam’s main city or town area, roughly around 20 minutes away depending on traffic. This means you may need extra planning if you intend to travel frequently into town for shopping or dining. Fortunately, the property provides a scheduled shuttle bus service, which is very helpful. However, guests will need to follow the shuttle timing strictly, as it operates based on a fixed schedule. Overall, Panbill Residence Serviced Apartment offers a comfortable and relaxing stay with excellent hospitality from the staff. While the location may not be the most convenient for those wanting quick access to the city, it is still a good choice for families or travelers looking for a peaceful accommodation experience in Batam.

lacking very much in amenities. only bath towel and floor towel. no hand towel. hotel smells old. breakfast was between meh and not nice. bellboy is friendly. when we first went to our non smoking room, it reeked of smoke. so much for asking guests to not smoke in non smoking room but no one checks or enforce.

The environment is great, backed by mountains and facing the sea. You get mountains, the sea, and the Baliang Bridge – the scenery is beautiful, and each individual villa is lovely too. Breakfast is quite generous. The main issue was lunch and dinner, with limited options (or perhaps just not to my taste). It's especially suitable for vacations, unwinding, and relaxation. There are several outdoor pools, beach volleyball, beach ATVs, jet skis, a spa, and a gym. You can stroll around the mountains, down by the sea, and everywhere in between. The room is spacious and has a balcony. The price is reasonable.

This is a pleasant hotel located near Harbour Bay, although it is not within comfortable walking distance. The food and service were both very good. A special mention goes to the chef preparing the fried noodles—they were outstanding, and I would happily return just to enjoy that dish again. The guest room was comfortable, but the furniture showed noticeable signs of wear and would benefit from refurbishment or replacement. The swimming pool access felt a little unusual, as the entrance is located next to the restaurant, while the changing rooms are quite a distance away, making it less convenient for guests. The gym is spacious, which is a great feature. However, many of the machines were out of order, so maintaining or replacing the equipment would significantly improve the fitness facilities.

Good location with many food options nearby. Walking distance to Nagoya Hill Mall. Breakfast is superb, delicious local tastes. The room is clean but lacks amenities, especially hand towels and hairdryers.
