I went to Les Orangers Beach in April and enjoyed my holiday so much that I went back a month later. It is very comfortable rather than luxurious. The setting is beautiful - stone pathways through lush gardens filled with hibiscus, bourgainvillea and lavender, leading straight onto a perfect sandy beach. Accommodation is housed in buildings spread among the gardens adding to the convivial atmosphere as everyone exchanges a greeting as they make their way from the restaurant in the main building for breakfast and dinner, to the beachside terrace restaurant for lunch, the outdoor pool, indoor pool, or the various activities on offer. Food and drinks are plentiful - personal favourites were the barbecued fish and chicken, stir fries made to order, salads and fruit (oranges, apricots, dates, strawberries and melons). Sundowner cocktails by the pool ... But it's the staff who make Les Orangers so special - bar staff and waiters, housekeeping, reception staff - and above all the Entertainment team who run the activities and encourage everyone to take part even if they're on their own or they've never done archery, petanque or aqua aerobics before. There is music, laughter and dancing every evening - amazing dance shows performed by the Entertainment team, karaoke, bingo, talent shows, rounded off with everyone.on the dance floor. So many guests had been going back to Les Orangers for years - and I too can't wait to go back.
