Lazuli Hiroshima Hotel and Lounge

We stayed at this cute little hotel for two nights and loved it! You can tell they really care about their guests and everything has a personal touch. We stayed at the top floor with river view, the room was really lovely and very spacious, It is around 800m from the train station which can be easily walked, but if you have a lot of luggage like we did it is better to take a taxi!

Excellent hotel, room, check in staff and bagels! Very nice little hotel with excellent desk staff who were very helpful and are there 8am-10pm, something which is becoming rare in Japan these days. We ordered the breakfast bagels which were fantastic - they came in a beautiful basket with granola, yogurt, cream cheese, jam etc and was one of the highlights of our stay. It seems like a small thing but they were so well done and so beautifully presented that it really was a highlight! Room was perfect, looked brand new and well appointed. Would highly recommend.

This is a small hotel outside the bustle of the city in a residential area, overlooking the river, and close to the Mazda stadium as well. It is a walkable distance from Hiroshima station even with large suitcases. The tiny reception lobby is very misleading, as you are in for a big surprise when inside the room. The room is literally huge with separate areas for bed, sofas, dining, and has a balcony too. The large bathroom area has three separate sections and is a very rare thing in Japan. Everything is meticulously clean and tidy and very well laid out. It is more like a house than a hotel room. Service is excellent, even though the reception is unstaffed after 9pm. Som at the front desk is very pleasing and helpful, and so are all the other staff members. I have to make a "not so positive remark" about breakfast. Since there is no dining area int he hotel, we have to pick up our breakfast from the lobby and take it to our room. Breakfast could be improved, with some additions like fresh fruits and boiled eggs in the menu. We had a Sake tasting session one evening where we got introduced to the famous Hiroshima Sake and learned the making process and specialties of it. Overall excellent experience and I would definitely recommend it.

We were warmly welcomed with genuine kindness and helpfulness that immediately made us feel at home. The rooms are incredibly spacious, beautifully furnished, and tastefully decorated, creating a stylish yet cozy atmosphere. One of the standout aspects was the cleanliness—absolutely spotless throughout, from the common areas to the room itself. Highly recommended
